I love Tombstone, but I think my favourite modern western is probably 3:10 To Yuma

Caught Jean-François Richet's "Plane" over the weekend. Well decent action flick worth 1 hour 40 minutes of anyones time. Butler and Colter are good in the leads, the story pulls you along and the action keeps you entertained, violent but not too graphic.
Agreed - so cool.
As is Russell Crowe as Ben Wade in the 3:10 mentioned above, albeit I don’t rate the film as highly as tombstone.
Actually watched the original 3:10 to Yuma with Gary Cooper last year (or year before.. the corona years all merge for me)
On another note the Magnificent Seven modern remake is my least favourite of the ‘newer’ westerns.
Saw Cocaine Bear at the weekend.
Have to admit I was disappointed - it just wasn't as funny as it could have been. Maybe needed like a Seth Rogen type as the cast just didn't quite deliver IMO. Apart from Isaiah Whitlock and Ray Liotta who were brilliant as ever.
Watched the Magnificent Seven last night, it was superb.
Been reading abit of this film that was shot in the south west of Donegal , one I'd watch as Liam Neeson would be one of my favourite actors.

Not a review but thought it was the most appropriate thread, been looking to watch The Basketball Diaries from the 90’s but can’t find it on any of the regular streaming sites. Does anyone know where I might be able to watch this?

Can't see on usual services but a Stream here
Watched "Dragged Across Concrete" yesterday on Amazon Prime. Thought it was quite good, albeit long (2h:38m) and a bit gory in parts. Dare I say it seemed like a Shakespearian tragedy? It's fair to say user reviews are divided. It seems to be a film you either love or hate.
Wild Rose.
Not bad.
Not bad at all.
Went to see Killers Of The Flower Moon last night. Really enjoyed it, though at about 3 1/2 hours was about 45 mins too long and it dragged on a bit. Not sure I’d watch it again but would definitely recommend.
Went to see SUMOTHERHOOD for something to do yesterday - Its the worst film I've ever seen. Pure crap, don't waste your time or money on this..
I thought it was part of the Hood movies but no it's just absolute rubbish..
Watched The French Connection, thought I had seen it before but don’t think I’d seen it all the way through. Really good.
Although, what was the point of the gunshot off screen at the very end? I know it’s a true story so the characters had pre-determined outcomes, which they advised in the end credits of what happened next. Does that not render the fade to black gun shot pointless? Either leave it in and don’t say what happened next for everyone, leaving it ambiguous. Or don’t have the gun shot as the what happened next text removes all ambiguity.
Watched five nights at Freddy's. Not good at all. When I started watching it it felt familiar and cottoned it reminded me of Willy's wonderland which is a couple of years old. Turns out it's based on five nights at Freddy's
