Best thing about Smackdown last night was Paige's chebs.
Another excellent NXT Takeover today.
I really struggle with the main roster at the minute. Some decent matches but I struggled to care about any of them. Underwhelmed really. There are just no real surprises any more.
Decent show this morning considering some of the ending's to matches were ridiculous.
Becky heel turn, Seth v Dolph, Brock losing the title all highlights for myself.
The main roaster stuff is mostly garabge. Last nights show had a few decent matches but even then they were the matches with Rollins and Bryan involved who are just superb against anyone.
TBF they have done well in getting people to turn on Lesnar but still Reigns gets very little cheers. Thought the main event was a farce tbh
Smack down this week was immense.
Raw was OK. Not a big fan of the shield as I missed their first go round so I'm not beholden to them like many.
Joe v aj at hiac will be 💥💥
The Sheild were awesome when they were treated as 3 equals while now it's more about pushing Roman even more as the leader.
Samoa Joe is on fire right now and Styles is still unreal in the ring.
An other point is the Becky vs Charlotte fued has gotten the roles the wrong way round Becky is the face here.Hope she gets the title win.
The ending of raw was pathetic.
Turning Strowman heel just to get people to cheer for Roman.
Rumours of Shawn Michaels coming out of retirement.
Daniel Bryan signs a new deal with WWE.
Looks like Matt Hardy has retired
Last night was a decent ppv.
Who's all excited for the super show down tomorrow............... Nah me either!!!
At least becky balboa retained. Can't see any title changes today.
Watched it all before heading to easter road.
A poor ppv. It's sad WWE are relying on old stars these days.
Hhh, but it's just a set up for Saudi Arabia where hbk tarnishes his retirement.
Can't understand why the past like Hhh and taker are on the card but, balor, wyatt, corbin or sasha or bayley or 3ven carmella aren't.
Its a nonsense. How will the future legends be born if they don't get any hype.
Apparently the Saudi prince that's paying many millions for these events is big fan of 90s wrestling hence why they want older stars for them. Allegedly asked for Yokozuna and Ultimate Warrior to appear 🙄
The Rock,Stone Cold and Hogan will all be back for one in the future guaranteed.
Last night’s raw was back to 1998.
Thought raw was good, but d generation x? They were about railing against authority, now they are quite literally (in hhh's case) the authority.
Shield v braun, drew and ziggler was cracking. Crowd seemed into strowman v drew as well.
Smackdown 1000 tonight should be good.
Really sad news about Roman.
Hope he he comes back stronger than ever.
The ending of raw was outstanding
Daniel Bryan also not going to Saudi Arabia, and Becky gets a match Vs Ronda at survivor series might even main event it.
Yes Bryan is seems really good guy with good morals.
Not really sure who will be next in line for AJ, wouldn't be against Joe winning but I doubt he will,Orton like you say is probably the top heel on Smackdown but I don't see the point in giving AJ this long title reign just to put Orton over.
Only other top heel I could challenging AJ would be The Miz.
He does look weird still looks in fantastic shape from the pictures I've seen,I'm not actually watching tonight WWE cancelled my subscription to the network for some reason. Think I'll just wait till Royal Rumble time to renew it don't think I'm missing much just now.
I hope that miz was honestly injured and unable to take part otherwise, that is the worst booking decision since, the match before when brock took the title.
Even worse when Seth is intercontinental champion and tag team, meaning one of those belts will be tied up too.
Was going to watch Crown Jewel last night but after hearing that both Lesnar won the UC and Shane won the WC, I didn’t bother in the end. Absolutely pathetic!
Considering just packing it in with WWE altogether as it’s just getting worse.
Something has to be done with WWE. I used to stay up for Raw and Smackdown. But i'll just catch up with them on youtube the following morning. Not worth losing sleep over anymore. I'll still watch the PPV's live.
We need another wrestling company to become as big as WWE. NJPW is that company.
Yeah I do the same Steve. Don’t bother staying up for Raw & Smackdown and just catch the YouTube highlights later in the week. The PPV I do watch from time to time but not bothered if I miss one. Will only watch Wrestlemania live.
In regards to your 2nd paragraph, whatever happened to TNA? I remember it used to be a very good wrestling company when it started and was hoping for a feud between WWE vs TNA to erupt. Similar to WWF vs WCW during the attitude era. Now it’s nowhere to be seen and many of its best wrestlers have either switched over to WWE (AJ Styles, Samoa Joe etc) or retired.
Ahh right, I didn’t know that. Cheers 👍🏾Was very good between 2005-2010 and was making its self known in the wrestling world. Had a very good talented roster and the matches were very entertaining to watch as well.
Would absolutely love to see that too. Would be class if it did happen.
I've stopped watching it. I just catch up online. I do like watching the big 4 ppvs though so I'll probably watch SS.
Becky lynch apparently out of survivors series with a concussion. Which is a disaster as she's on fire right now.
Charlotte’s assault last night on Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series 😮
Didn’t see that coming even though I enjoyed it 😁
Ronda v Becky v Charlotte at wrestlemania 35. :hyper
Some very good matches at Royal Rumble this year.
Thinking of putting a wee bet on the royal rumble this year. Who do you think will win it?
Check sky bet later in the week mate. So many request a bet choices.
This came in from last year's rumble.

Ronda leaving WWE after wrestlemania and wants to put over Becky.
Roman reigns not out of the question yet.
Anyone else staying up for the rumble tonight. Should be good.
Expecting any surprise returns, especially in the Rumble? - The Rock?
Dean Ambrose leaving in april.
Gutted.
Hideo itami leaving as well now.
Can generally see AEW getting big as wwe in the future.
Who we thinking Daniel Bryan will face at Wrestlemania? Can't see many options for a 1on1 match for him on smackdown. And I don't think they will do other multi man match so close to elimination chamber.
Brock Lesnar supposedly going to be in talks with AEW.
Would be good for both parties IMO, get him away from the sports entertainment side of things, every time he faces more of an indie style wrestler he looks a different man.
Kurt Angle to address his future on Monday.
Brock, Kurt, Nakamura, Sanity, Ambrose etc all talks in leaving.
Ive just been having a look through the other sports section and come across this thread. Ive never had an interest in this sort of sport as Ive always believed its just entertainment and fake. A quick search on the internet just now pretty much backs this up. So my question is if this "sport" is fake, why would anyone in their right mind put bets on?
Ah, the old "fake" description again! :-)
To answer your question, I suppose people would bet on it for many of the same reasons they bet on sport. For example; it enhances their enjoyment of watching the event or, based on what they know about the event, they think they can predict the outcome.
Hi, I dont mean to disrespect your sport but if there is even an element of "fixing" shall we say then betting on it must surely equate to pure luck. Other sports betting at least you can study form to an extent.
Anyway I dont know enough about it to comment with any real knowledge. Just wondering 😀
No disrespect detected and I totally understand where you're coming from. The "fake" description is a bit too simplistic for me though considering what the guys and girls who take part put their bodies through.
Vince McMahon calls it "sports entertainment" rather than a sport because, as you've said, the outcome is pre-determined.
With regard to the betting side, you can study form in a strange way; it's not so much to do with the performances of the wrestlers, as it is to do with the pattern of results, the direction of the company, upcoming events etc. You might also factor in things like where the event is being held, the wrestlers contract situation etc.
It's much the same as people putting bets on outcome of soap opera storylines "who was the murderer" & "who survived the big explosion". The outcomes are scripted like a TV show, the physical nature is real hence why it's still classed as a sport by many. The feats of athleticism in some cases are pretty impressive.
If it entertains people and doesn't do any harm then I don't get the issue over wrestling. The betting thing, I can kind of understand, but people bet on Strictly, Bake Off, The Apprentice etc. and often these are filmed in advance. Same idea.
Anyone staying up for EC tonight. Not many matches look appealing.
