I'm not sure I'd agree with this. Surely their finances are inextricably linked to three sources: regular income (including transfer fee gains); FoH donations and; non-FoH donations (currently James Anderson). Assuming regular income is relatively stable, FoH donations make up a sizeable chunk of their income. Sugar Daddy contributions are also not guaranteed. While Mr Anderson has a lot of money, there's no guarantee that he will continue to support it at the current level - particularly if he ends up on the wrong side of the next global financial crisis.

Yes a slightly rusty pink hue on the light weight summer blazer that can be worn on summer pilgrimages to the Plaza Gorgio to the famous Piazza del Budgi and sitting out in a deckchair admiring the curtain walling and the perfect recreation of 1970's architecture, taking them back to the halycon summers before Albert Kidd happened...the blazer comes with an oversized pocket to keep the maroon knotted handkerchief for putting on ones jambo bonce to keep the midday Gorgie sun from burning ones pate.

Am also suggesting a small battery powered pocket fan that twirls a miniature scarf around to keep one cool on such days....

The Myreside Pavillion is part of their external catering portfolio, it says.

Used to be the private club for George Watson’s School plus changing facilities etc. Got to assume it still is but that they have engaged the people from Tynecastle to run it. Like a franchise I suppose. Only guessing but I did see recently that some awards organisation has decide the Tynecastle (almost) castle view restaurant is one of the top places to eat in Edinburgh.
Not sure if “top” is a reference to quality or height mind you

What a stinking club. They were already £25m in debt before this criminal took them over, all with the approval of Mr George Foulkes yet another dodgy character. However, even both of them are in the shade compared to the most notorious of yams, Mr A Salmond.

It's never forgotten that this £25m debt was accumulated during their Scottish Cup 'win' in 1998. The debt spiralled out of control even further under Romanov, conservative assumptions are around £70m, which could be highlighted during this trial. Under Romanov another 2 Scottish Cups were 'won'.

So, to sum up they bought players they could not afford and pay and won 3 cups during this period.

In my eyes this lot have not won anything legitimately in over 50 years.

As I said. What a stinking club.

So about £30m per cup? The current ownership have fired through over £30m of extra cash since they came out of Admin and have zero cups to show for it so far.

You do them a disservice, they managed to achieve a tremendous demotion a couple of years ago, in fact you never stop hearing them go on about it to this day.

I didn’t realise it was Hearts who did both - I just thought it was the same guy who did Turnhouse and Hearts as separate ventures.

Benny is retiring this April from Baillie Gifford. A very wealthy man but no more annual salaries or bonuses. His Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust is down nearly 25% from its peak as tech stocks come under pressure from higher interest rates in the USA. His finite pot of money is getting smaller which must make him more discerning about his hand outs to Hearts

It was stated 2 years ago by HMFC that Anderson had pledged to provide support for 5 years so there’s probably still 2 more seasons after this one where he sends £4-5m to the club. It’s seems like pocket change to him but it does mean that until season 2024/25, at least, HMFC will be the third best funded club in Scotland by quite some margin. Will be interesting to see what happens after 24/25 especially if the funding falls away.
