Scotland u19s getting battered by Iceland right now 4-0 after 40 mins. We look miles off it. A few players playing in positions that they don't for their club. Thats a very SFA thing to do .

I’m not a huge fan of Howard but she’s been on in league games. It’s just a lack of players challenging for defence. Keeper and CBs need to be replaced but we are struggling to develop good defenders. McLean at DM will be top class. Watson will be great too assuming she recovers from her ACL. I read club funding womens team to the tune of £400k a year . £400k taken out first team budget.
You can tell women love playing. But should be Amature level players in Scotland. Not enough crowd interest to make it sustainable
I would say it's not 400k out of the first team budget because it was never in the budget. It's up to the Gordon's if they want to invest in a growing sportQuote:

I would say one thing I think would allow the game to grow more would be to return the league to a summer season, which I don't think they will. Reasons being it won't be competing as much for paying spectators or media coverage with the men's game and it's a very family-friendly game and I think people would be more inclined to take young kids to the game when the weather isn't baltic.
