Its often much maligned but personally think its a decent season opener. All the top leagues across Europe have a similar game (not always at the start of the season) but Bayern played Leipzig yesterday, Nantes play PSG in their quivalent today. Italy and Spain both havr suoer cups.Quote:

Cash is king to clubs like Livi though, I know every penny counts for most Scottish clubs outwith the old firm but I think they will continue to do it as it brings more money in and that trumps everything else.
