Sadly I find that to be the case with most modern football at the top level. I watched a but of the Villa West Ham game and late on in the game Villa had a break on, the ball was fed out to the right back who's had probably 20 or so yards to run into and take on his opposing number. His first thought was to stop and play it back the way. I find myself watching less and less football now. It really is only Hibs that gets me interested anymore
I hate to say it but I think he stumbled upon the three at the back by accident rather than design. A lot of folk on here were crying out for three at the back fir a while before it happened. O’Hora played right of a three at his previous club. No surprise he’s looked better playing in this formation than earlier in the season.
FT Barcelona :7: Valencia 1

Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has suggested he'd rather give a place on the bench to his 63-year-old goalkeeping coach instead of Marcus Rashford because of a perceived lack of effort.
It is lunacy. While you may want to play a certain style or way, your job as a professional football manager is to win ****ing games of football!
If your team can't win "your way" then you figure out how to win games until you can move players on and get players in who can. Drives me mad.

Hearts 1st goal - what the hell is he talking about. I can't really be doing with re-reviewing people's foot being offside in the first of four phases of play before a ball, but what ignorant blind utter nonsense.

Burnley v Leeds, dreadful game.
Total borefest. Egan Riley had a good game though on the right side of a back 10
Burnley brutal to watch. But it's an approach that's working quite well for them. Only 9 goals conceded in 29 games. Wouldn't be surprised if they win the Championship, as both Leeds and Sheffield generally take more risks in order to score more goals.
Paddy power giving evens that both teams wont score by 5pm tonight.
Didnt know Jamie Gullan had rejoined Raith, scored tonight and currently 0-3 up v Hamilton Accies
They changed mind set after Dyche took them down with Kompany playing a more expansive way but it was too much to survive the Premier league and he didn't have the players to play out from the back against far better teams, we've seen the same with Southampton this season, Parker has obviously came in and been told to make them harder to beat but unfortunately that makes you boring if you play a back 8.
Looking forward to Barcelona v Atalanta tonight, should be a goal fest. 🤞
Tonight I will mostly be an Aston Villa fan
McGinn on the bench, Celtic team doesnt look the best mind you.
I'd be surprised if Celtic don't lose by a couple. Maeda, Kyogo and Carter Vickers are 3 of their best players (or were in Kyogo's case) and they don't have the strength in depth at this level to lose players like them and compete IMO.
1-0 Villa already :faf:
We want 10
