He's a class act. Very dry sense of humour which some never really got.
Bows out as a legend of British sport. In my book the best ever, which is all the more remarkable considering his career at the top level was effectively cut short by seven years. Pretty sure he was world No 1 and reigning Wimbledon champion when his hip gave way.
His record at Queen's was unparalleled so it makes sense and I'm sure Wimbledon will also pay tribute. A statue has been mooted. As you say those moments were some of the greatest ever in British sport.
What I think, though, does get overlooked is that UK sport did little to earn the kudos Andy's global success brought them. It was only by moving to Spain at 15 that he became the player he did. I'm not sure enough effort has been made here to build on that legacy.
Phenomenal performance by Andy's Olympic doubles partner Dan Evans at the US Open. 4-0 down in the fifth set yet comes back to win in 5 hours and 35 minutes!
Alcaraz and Djokovic both crash out of the US Open in the early rounds. Maybe Andy should have stuck around ;-)
Seriously, Sinner must be confident he can add to his Slam tally.
Wow, Draper easily wins. Impressive !
Draper storms into the semi-finals. That's a cracking win over De Minaur in straight sets.
Draper was excellent not sure i see him going further however definitely has a chance. His serve and general play has been brilliant
I think Sinner will win the tournament but Draper has been brilliant so far and will only improve
Top ten player next season I would reckon
I'm out it of breath just watching Draper v Sinner
Shades of a young Andy Murray, who used to be sick quite often on court until he built himself up to the level needed to compete consistently in the latter stages of Slams. Draper actually played very well despite the fact he must have been feeling horrendous. His time will come.
Murray playing golf in the pro am prior to the BMW at Wentworth next week alongside Bob McIntyre. Be interesting to see his standard.

Quite odd watching him play a sport other than tennis...looks like he could be pretty useful at golf though.
Could have tucked it in :-)
