I cycled along to Innerleithen to watch Vale of Leithen, for the first time, vs Cumbernauld Colts. Was great to be back and whilst Cumbernauld were the better side first half it took a bad defensive error for their first goal. After that Vale's heads went down and they lost 2 further quick goals before half-time. 2nd half was pretty much a non-event, although temperature probably affected things. Vale had a man sent off and a late goal made it 0-4. Cumbernauld look a decent outfit, but Vale will struggle and it's only Covid that's saved then from relegation the last 2 years. Crowd about 50. The moment I felt I was really back at a match was when the pies ran out at half-time, just before I could get one [emoji16]Quote:
