As good as nakamura v styles would be, I'm not convinced either could be a convincing heel, which would probably make the build to the match a bit underwhelming.
Must say I'm fairly convinced reigns wins it.

I'm going for a Balor/Banks Rumble double.
If not Balor, then Strowman.
Nakamura is the favourite to win and so is asuka for the women’s rumble.
Taker was spotted in Philadelphia yesterday.
Anyone else staying up for it tonight?
Well done that's a great bet. I stayed up till the end of the men's match.Glad they went with nakamura. Ronda rousey apparently signed full time plus rey mysterio.
Think they must have big plans for Almas and Adam Cole which is good. Takeover was awesome as well.
Best ppv for a long time and best rumble ppv in years.
Cole and Almas will be future wwe champions for sure. Both have huge potential.
Ronda full time is also decent as everyone thought it would be part time.
May need to watch the men's rumble again it was that good.
The coach is back tonight as well.
I thought the actual Rumbles were quite poor.
The time from Balor's exit to the end was pointlessly long, as Nakamura was the only realistic winner from that point.
I may be biased as I'm not a Nakamura fan and just don't see him as a Wrestlemania main eventer.
As an aside, Rousey's introduction was cringeworthy, but that probably wasn't her fault. I'm a big fan of hers, but I can't see her being capable of selling the kayfabe. I hope I'm wrong.
John Cena vs. The Undertaker
Universal Title Match: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Roman Reigns
WWE Title Match: AJ Styles (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
Ronda Rousey and partner vs. Stephanie McMahon and Triple H
Intercontinental Title Match: The Miz (c) vs. Braun Strowman
Raw Women’s Title Match: Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Nia Jax
Smackdown Live Women’s Title Match: Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Asuka
Seth Rollins vs. Jason Jordan
Cruiserweight Title Tournament Final
Apparently are locked for Wrestlemania. Still think we'll get a US Title ladder match and Shane/Orton v KO/SZ.
Im totally behind having a women’s rumble, there’s a decent amount of talented performers to hold one. However, increasing the numbers to 30 was wrong, felt like a nostalgia trip rather than a serious match, which in turn under played the significance of doing it.
The don’t half like to build up and build up a big name, we got what felt like months of Goldberg teasers, now this 7-8 minute stretch of Rousey doing effectively sod all. You just know the Rousey thing will be strung out, setting up a feud, before a mania match with someone.
I completely agree about this pointing at the mania sign as well, it’s so over done.
Please God, no. I just can't see the advantage in this at all. He's retired; let him rest in peace.
If this happens, it should be because Lesnar's contract isn't being renewed and Reigns is going to be champion.Quote:
Universal Title Match: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Roman Reigns
I hope I'm wrong, but this could be car crash.Quote:
Ronda Rousey and partner vs. Stephanie McMahon and Triple H
This should be awesome because...well, because it's The Miz.Quote:
Intercontinental Title Match: The Miz (c) vs. Braun Strowman
They would have to give a decent reason for Asuka swapping brands considering the push she's getting on Raw.Quote:
Charlotte Flair v Asuka
I think this would be a great fight if built properly, but I heard JJ's neck injury is actually real so plans may be a-changing.Quote:
Seth Rollins vs. Jason Jordan
Elimination Chamber wasn’t great.
Fast lane was terrible but at least we're getting AJ v Nakamura :hyper
Ultimate deletion tonight. Either going to be awesome or the worst thing of all time.
Hoping for the former, dreading the latter.
WWE just announced that Daniel Bryan has been cleared for competition. Scenes
:hyper :hyper
Daniel Bryan 😍😍
Great news.
Just think of the matches he can now have
Vs Aj,Balor,Nakamura,Zayn,Rollins,Black,Almas Gargano,McIntyre,Cole and of course The Miz and Roman.
Was great seeing Bryan back in the ring last night.
Bryan v Roman WM35 main event will happen.
Less than a week to now. Still no confirmation of Cena vs Taker. Still excited anyway.
Just sat and watched the rock-stone cold match from wrestlemania 17.
Everything about that match was perfection, the build up, the promo and the match itself.
Stephanie McMahon putting Ronda through a table 😂.
They couldn't be killing her start in WWE any more if they tried.
The NXT ladder match was one of the best things I've seen in a while
Takeover was excellent.not a bad match on the card.
Anyone else staying up for wrestlemania tonight.
Long night ahead.
Going to get the first two hours or so.
Thought the woman's battle royal should have ended with bayley eliminating sasha.
Interesting to see where Wyatt/ hardy goes.
Seth's entrance there :hyper
Aye it was good. Good match too, but thought it could have gone longer tbh.
Charlotte v asuka. I expect we'll see carmella somewhere soon too.
No way!!!! Can't believe Charlotte broke the streak.
Takers here too! (Im sure that's what the ref said)

Jinder winning. :faf:
Expecting Cena/Taker to main event.
That was ****ing great.
Thoughts of the weekend:
- ALL of NXT was good, particularly ladder match, title match and Gargano v Ciampa. Superb stuff.
- Mania was never gonna live up to NXT
- Rousey match was probably the best. It was fun, and Ronda looked pretty good.
- Taker match was terrible. All that build for a 3 minute squash? Really?!
- US Title + SD tag title = nobody cared.
- Naka v AJ should’ve been 10 mins longer. Heel turn was the only good bit.
- Strowman, was funny picking some kid, but now the bar look awful and some random kid is a tag team champ?!
- Reigns took 6 x F5s FFS. This match was just stupid but I appreciated the surprise finish.

That was funny :faf:
Miz moving to smackdown, as requested by Daniel bryan.
That is going to be (ahem) awwwwwwesome.
Smackdown’s roster is so packed :hyper
Miz moves to SD Live so they have Bryan start feuding with Big Cass instead 🙄
FFS
That was crap.
God bless Titus "Shockmaster" O'Neil.
Only one title changing hands was very disappointing. Brock v reigns and aj v nakamura terrible endings. The 50 man royal rumble never really got going at one point I thought DB was going to win it glad Braun did hopefully he can face brock or someone else can and win the belt. Getting boring now with him champ for sooooo long.
There's a reason that there's not been a 50 man rumble before and it's because it's boring.
On one hand I'm glad that they didn't have a major title change hands as I don't like how they went with the show without a womens match. It's what they've built the last 2-3 years on - you had the Attitude Era, the Ruthless Aggression Era and the Women's Revolution era.
Felt like a glorified house show.
The woman's roster being knocked off and Sami Zayn not being allowed to complete was utter bs.
In addition, an apology because there was an advert with women in it 😧
Not much happening recently worth talking about.
But takeover last night was once again fantastic.Future should be great when HHH takes over if he can translate his NXT booking onto the main roster.
NXT is far superior to anything the main roster are being allowed to do just now, real shame as given the talent they currently have if they were given free reign it would be immense AJ, Nakamura, Rusev, Strowman, KO to name a few should be getting better things to do
Absolutely so much talent on the main roster being wasted. Vince McMahons fixation on Lesnar and Reigns doesn't help wrestlers can only get themselves so over then there isn't anywhere for them to go they just end up treading water. Smackdown is slightly better just now.
Money in the bank was a no bad show.
Strowman winning the briefcase makes me think he'll challenge lesnar at summerslam and win it then.
Take out the Reigns and Lashley fights and I really enjoyed it, mind you I enjoy anything Alexa does
NxtUK brand announced :hyper
Big Cass fired. Can't say it's a big loss.
NXTUK is very interesting look forward to watching it if it's HHH in control it should be really good.obviously HHH will be in charge.
As far as I've read there were plenty of reasons he was fired including having a bad attitude backstage arguing with other wrestlers and not being liked very much. Going off script a few weeks ago in a segment with a little person(midget? Not sure what the most pc desctipion is?) Ignoring direct orders from Vince and others and finally just not being very good at anything.
How bad has WWE been recently.
Ziggler, drew and Seth the only bit worth watching at the moment.
I agree, it has been very poor
I was a bit worried about them teaming Drew up with Ziggler but it's going well so far.
Lesnar turned up to UFC last night and set up a fight against D.C. so looks like he's dropping the title for sure.
First time in years I’ve not watched it weekly, it really is bad. Even the PPVs have been nothing great. I did enjoy the last NXT special, the one before the UK tournament
Vince has destroyed all the momentum Matt Hardy and Asuka had with terrible booking.
I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to get Kenny Omega over and have him job out to Jinder.
Lashley v reigns: winner v lesnar at summerslam.
Not seen raw yet, but apparently the triple threat between mcintyre, elias and reigns was decent.
Smackdown was pretty good this week.
Raw was good last night. Even watched most of it.
Can't help but feel wyatt/hardy was a waste though.
That was pretty grim viewing on the main shows this week. Fast forwarded the majority of both.
Randy Orton could be in big trouble for getting his genitalia out constantly.
Which is surprising because you'd thi K he'd be in trouble for being a boring twat with a move set that hasn't evolved for 10+ years.
Not watched Raw & Smackdown for a while now as it’s been poor. Will give Summerslam a watch and I hope to God it is better than what Extreme Rules served up.
