I think you misunderstood it.

Maybe I did but I don’t see it as an agreement where we will just get loan players off them.
I think the clubs working together includes the youth set up and the scouting of players at that level. IMO there’s bound to be a bit cross over with players not quite good enough for them but then recommended to us.
Wotherspoon would probably improve our team. Not because he's a great player -he is a good player - but because we don't have a ball carrier who can beat a man in midfield.
We don't lack quality, just a bit of variety.
Apologies if I sounded a bit short there, not intended. Trying to do several things at once. I like your thought but I honestly think you're giving far too much credit to football clubs. I doubt there are many who harbour altruistic feelings or aftercare to what are essentially ex employees. There's thousands of players released every year, Brighton, & every other club's focus will be on developing those who remain at the club,
is he that good

Meanwhile, reports in Scotland claim Liverpool have taken Hibernian teenager Ethan Laidlaw on trial this week in a bid to steal a march on their rivals.
The 16-year-old has caught the eye playing in the Hibs youth teams and has yet to make his senior debut. A number of clubs have been alerted to the striker’s talents, with Leeds United already taking him on trial. And Manchester United recently showed their hand, expressing a wish to check out the youngster at close quarters.
Laidlaw is a Hibs fan and so it would be a wrench to leave his boyhood club. Hibs do not want to sell the starlet, who penned his first professional deal earlier this season.
But the lure of playing for one of the biggest clubs in Europe will be tough to resist. The extent of City’s interest is not known but the route to the Etihad first team would be tough.
stay with the hibs for another few years young man :)
Hopefully he doesn't do what the majority of Scottish youngsters do and goes to England and disappears. He'd be much better off playing first team football with us and then moving when he's maybe 19. He'd then be moving with a good bit of experience that gives him a much better chance of hitting the ground running when he joins one of those big clubs. He'd also be more mature and better able to handle being away from home.
No, re-signing Wotherspoon would not excite me. But neither will I be excited if we have exactly the same midfield options for next season as currently. I was just responding to you saying DW wasn't (isn't) good enough for Hibs. After his performance last Sat ergo all our current midfielders are not good enough for Hibs. Said it elsewhere, we do not have the right blend and I'm all for offloading two from the current 8/9 to use the £ this will free up to get in one who will be a significant improvement with potential for a good sell-on in 2-3 years time. TBH I'd take Ferguson off the Sheep's hands (hooves).
Somebody mentioned this guy earlier as someone we should be looking at.

Middlesbrough released a few decent players this week. Marvin Johnson a winger that was at motherwell for a spell looked good.
Assombalonga released too although I'd imagine he's destined for much bigger pay days than we could afford
