What a fantastic hour of tv last nights episode was, perfection from start to finish. Particularly June in the court scene.

I have caught up now and agree, hopefully the Waterford's get their comeuppance, what an actress the lassie that plays June, kills it every time, also shout out for Aunt Lydia, can't stand her but the show would not be the same without her, glad I got into this.
Just checked up on it the now, no bad cast with Faye Dunaway and Robert Duvall in the Waterford roles, i can't get enough of this story the now so it will be an interesting comparison
Watched "Time" on the iPlayer recently
Wow, incredible TV. Stephen Graham and Sean Bean were outstanding (entire cast were to be fair)
War of the Worlds.
Not the terrible BBC version but the series shown on Sky(Fox I think)
S2 has appeared but now on Disney not quite as good as the first season but still a decent watch.
Only got round to watching ‘time’ this last week or so. Good watch that could easily have had more episodes, although I found the third and final one a bit slower going.
Clarkson's farm .brilliant 👏 👏 👏
I finished the man in the high castle last night. I really enjoyed it, but as is the way these days the ending left more questions than answers.
Has anyone watched the Chernobyl program on Netflix? I think it’s a Russian show so will probably be dubbed.
Don’t know how I missed it getting released but just finished L’Immortale the movie about Ciro from Gomorrah.
The Walking Dead moved to Disney for its final season if anyone is suffering/sticking with it.
S1 of The Handsmaid Tale done absolutely superb.
Katla, gets weirder by the episode but as an amateur photographer I really appreciate the colours used in the filming.
I think I'll just stick with the SKY version too.
Started watching hit and run on Netflix.
Seems decent so far.
Watched the Suranne Jones episode of "I am" last night, great bit of acting though not a cheery watch.
Outerbanks season 1 & 2 done in 2 weeks superb
We are gonna get another season of Manifest for those that were left wondering about the ending
Just watched the first episode of "Hustle". It's from 2004 but I've never heard of it. First episode was OK but I'm struggling to see how they managed to make 48 episodes. Has anyone watched it and is it worth continuing?
Watched the first two episodes of Vigil on BBC. I’m really enjoying it… but…
Would she really choose to question officers and others during an emergency situation. She’s stuck there, it’s not as if she could do anything with the information now vs after the emergency…
She’s a strong character, kind of battling against claustrophobia and traumatic memory, so I don’t really have a problem with that. I’m still not sure if I like it or not, I’m just watching it to find out WTF went on in the bonkers opening scene. (And because the rest of the family like it more than me).
It’s fairly watchable so far but some of the stuff is just ridiculous it’s really been poorly executed so far.
Sub is massive inside
Car crash must have flew into the water with how far it was to the water when they waded out.
Copper phoning the police and arriving in about 5 seconds.
The list goes on:-)
Another annoying one is they couldn’t identify a tanker coming towards them.
I liked how the huge sub was sinking at about 100mph but came to a complete stop instantly as soon as somebody found some spare AA batteries.
How did she fit all that testing equipment inside that bag? Would you be allowed to use some of those chemicals in such an enclosed space? Surely receiving a message gives your position away just as much as sending one? Surely sending a message about the trawler is more important than sending one about a crew member dying? If you are messaging about the dead crew member, why not mention the trawler in the same message? Or is it a Nokia 3310 they are using where you are restricted by the number of characters in a message?
Should all the posts about Vigil not be in the pet peeves thread? 🤔😉
Anybody else watching Annika on Alibi? The main character (Nicola Walker) talking directly into the camera to the viewer takes a bit of getting used to, quite good though.
Series 5 of Biliions resumes on Wednesday
I think Vigil has run out of ideas already. Bored.
It’s all a bit odd isn’t it.
A half decent idea but pretty ropey execution.
So many parts are just daft…the near miss with a tanker that somehow the sonar didn’t pick up, the XO’s ludicrously guilty behaviour, the suggestion crew members just hang out in the missile bays when bored, the amount of stuff just lying about the submarine, the ‘will we cause a meltdown or not but heck we’ll just fire the reactor back up anyway’ etc.
The list goes on and on.
Just read that Michael K Williams who played Omar in the Wire and Chalky in Boardwalk Empire has died, gutted, Omar is one of my favourite characters in any TV show
Clickbait on Netflix was superb
Peeve, I've quite enjoyed the 3 series of Vanished by the Lake, Killer by the Lake etc, French cop show, have you watched it? 3 eps of season 3 to go so, no spoilers. 😉
Walter Presents on All4 is well worth a look if you can put up with subtitles, watched some great foreign dramas.
Watched fantastic fungi on Netflix last night, amazing time lapse photography and a really interesting insight into the world of mushrooms.
The twist toward the end was good but it comes too early - I found that most of the last episode was a waste of time as we already know whodunnit (I more or less switched off and only half watched it while doing other stuff). Apart from that the series itself is worth watching.
Just finished The North Water with Colin Farrell, Stephen Graham and Jack O'Connell, Set In the 1850's aboard a whaling ship, Farrell plays an absolute murderous lunatic set against some amazing scenery, gripping TV although quite dark and brutal at times, great performances throughout the whole cast and being only five episodes it's a quick and easy watch, highly recommended
Just finished series 4 of Gomorra and the film L’immortale- superb tv. Last series due this year.
I watched My Mother’s Murder last night. Absolutely heartbreaking. I remember the crime happening and obviously the developments over the years, but I had no idea things were so bad for the wee boy and his dad. The press can be absolute vultures sometimes.
I'm way behind here but I've just started Billions.
Good so far!
Final season of Narcos out on November 5th :hyper.
Not sure I’ve seen them mentioned but anyone watching 9 Perfect Strangers (Prime) or Only Murders In The Building (Netflix)?
My wife chose them both and credit where it’s due, they’re both fairly decent.
Help on Channel 4 catch up. Jodi Comer and Stephen Graham both play brilliant parts in a story just before and after the Pandemic began and how it affected their Care Home. Vey powerful drama.
Did anyone watch the revived Never Mind the Buzzcocks on Sky?
If you didn't then the original series are easily available online. Watch them instead.
Just finished series 2 of Marco Polo on Netflix, how historically accurate it is I’ve no idea, but I enjoyed it and looking forward to the next series whenever that might be.
Does anyone watch Mortimer & Whitehouse Gone Fishing? One of my favourite programmes of the last few years, I’ve no interest in fishing but the two of them reminiscing and having a laugh in beautiful surroundings is fantastic.
