Haven't listened to the podcast but some of the injuries will have been down to players exaggerating how bad injuries were because they wanted to avoid the abuse from the fans and were on a high basic to bonus ratio (just one of Budge's many bad decisions) so they were still getting paid handsomely sitting out each week.Quote:
