You referenced Tierney in regards to the amount they spent this year only being half of that. In the year they sold Tierney they reinvested all but £3m of his fee, and every penny of the money the club made.
He’s done well in the Europa League and got a chance to get a bit further. If he could get in to the Champions League, I think that European experience would be more attractive to potential employers than a domestic trophy up here.Quote:
