It is all about opinions. Personally I'd say you are stretching it by saying he is a "very good" CH as he is prone to the odd mistake and I still believe physically he can be bullied. He is a good SPFL centre half and someone who has done well for the club but no more IMO.Quote:

Paul Hanlon has played 380 matches for Hibs.
Along with Stevenson he has seen a lot of would be replacements off.
Professional football is brutal and Hanlon has had a good career.
Adam Jackson, our new centre half is 25 and has played only 70 matches.
Can he take Paul's place? It will be tough.

Like Lewis players come and players go and Paul Hanlon is still here and will continue to be here
No issue with Heckinbottom signing former players as he knows them but I don’t think he will sign too many as there will be different options and he will explore all the leagues to get his right man
Jackson, Hedges, Isgrove, Fryers and Bree all look good players on paper though and seemed to have done well for him.
Good to see another signing confirmed and it’s not even June yet, hopefully a couple more to follow over the next week or so.
