Is that confirmed? Thought they werent going to be showing the earlier games anymore.

Bought ESPN College player for a month to see what its like. No doubt I will get plenty of use over the next few weeks :agree:
I see the Packers' DuJuan Harris is out for the season:
http://espn.go.com/nfl/trainingcamp1...ve-knee-injury
Who owns him in Fantasy?
Tonight's the night that NCAA Football returns!
First games start a 11pm so I doubt I'll see any of them in all truth but I'll try and catch the first half of the North Carolina @ South Carolina game.
Tickets for the games in London have arrived!! Buzzing!!
Does anyone know what the commemorative gift season ticket holders will receive?
My mate just told me he is off to UCONN tonight.
*******.
*******. *******. *******.
Might stay up and watch the first part of the South Carolina game tonight, but there's that danger I'm up to 3am when I'm up at 6 :greengrin

Teeeeeeeeebow!
Tebow released?! How could they?!
Can't say I'm surprised really. We've never had 3 QBs on our roster and he didn't do enough to get to the #2 slot.
About half an hour til some of the first Saturday games get underway including:
Buffalo at Ohio
Toledo at Florida
Massachusetts at Wisconsin
We host Central Michigan at half 8 this evening in a game we should win without much difficulty...
Ohio State absolutely massacring Buffalo early on 23-0 up inside the first quarter and have the ball again...
Quite dull to watch actually as it's not a contest.
Currently watching syracuse v Penn st until the alabama game comes on.
On the early evidence, we appear to be a penalty-prone offense this year but we look promising in both the run and pass.
Gardner looks very comfortable, Toussaint is solid and Gallon has caught well so far. Encouraging but we are playing Central Michigan...
Gave up watching the game - couldn't find a decent stream which would run smoothly.
We're 35-6 up at half-time so not exactly a competition sadly.
Guys! What about Tebow?!
Just watched the Oregan game with my mate (Oregan alumni). Got quite boring very quickly, too easy.
Virginia Tech coming back at Bama a little...
4th quarter just getting underway in Ann Arbor - 56-6 to Michigan...
Fell asleep before the Georgia vs Clemson game but caught the highlights earlier this morning - surprised at the result but Clemson looked good! :agree:

Read this interesting article on the amazing Grantland site. What is everyone's view on a London based franchise? Personally I wouldn't root for them as I feel I've devoted too much emotionally to the Jets over the past decade.
http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/...ndon-franchise
I don't see it becoming a reality in all honesty - too many logistical problems and imagine the cost and time-zone adjustments for the team having to travel to the USA every other weekend...
Having said that, if it DID happen, I'd get behind them - London being my local city would mean I'd at least have a degree of connection to any such team which played here and would happily cheer on them against any of the NFL teams with the exception of New England...
Like you AH, I've put too much into the Patriots and despite no longer living in New England, I still feel a connection to the Pats despite the distance to Foxborough.
However, the thought of being able to go to Wembley every other week during the season and watch live NFL games is an appealing prospect, so long as they don't price it to a degree which is unattainable for the normal fans. They get away with the higher prices for the one off games but they'd need to drop the price if it were to become a more regular thing.
I would go a long to see them play but I would be a Pats fan still. I couldnt change team. I have no idea what people do when their team moves!
Just finished watching the Georgia @ Clemson great and it was a cracker, didn't know it was about 4 and a half hours long though :dizzy:
Week 1 guys, Where's the Hype? :partyhibb
Personally, I'm struggling to get excited a little so far. Having said that, I'm driving back to Scotland on Friday and my new laptop arrives at work tomorrow so it's not top of my imminent excitement list :greengrin
I was pleased to read that Gronk was back in full training yesterday though - simmering excitement, swelling just beneath the surface :greengrin
Got a family celebration over the weekend however I have game pass loaded on to the iPhone for NFL on the go
Less of the Gronk chat. I'm hoping this boy Sudfeld becomes the Patsies number one TE for the foreseeable future
Has Rex Ryan finally seen the light? It's ****ing bright enough...
http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/stor...z-status-doubt
Brady Quinn looked pretty good for us in preseason, the only reason he was released is our other veteran was even better. Unbelievable that the Jets have allowed all this QB uncertainty go right up to the final week. The offense cant be properly prepared.
Only three days left till it all starts!
TSSF: If your looking for a decent place to watch the Notre Dame game v Michigan according to the NFL forum you can watch all the ND games on the link provided on this thread.,
http://forum.nfluk.com/showthread.php?t=98193
Mark Sanchez is out of season opener. Smith to start.
May have missed this in the thread but did anyone see jameis winston in his first game for FSU 25-27 passing with four passing TD and one running.
Tonight is the night guys! Football is BACK! I am off down the pub for a few cheeky beers then back for Kick off. :agree:
Whoever it is that's still looking for IS game tickets, there are some due to go on sale next week (Thursday 12th) at 10 AM on ticketmaster :aok:.
Football!
Oh Welker. Another big drop.
big score, I wonder if the Bronco's are the team to beat?
I didn't stay up to watch it - drove back up from Surrey last night to Dundee and was knackered when I got into the house.
Frightening scoring though from Denver against the defending champions!
the opening day returning champs curse strikes again :greengrin thats what you call sending out a message of intent by the broncos, welker + manning look tuned in already, could be hard to stop them this year methinks. oh and elvis dumvervill must have slept well last night :na na:
All you need to stop the Broncos will be a bit of Cold in the play-offs, Peyton has never performed well in January. Game probably hinged on a drop by Welker that the officials called a catch on 3rd down for a first that Harbaugh never challenged.
All that I care for though right now is Sunday, and seeing the Pats open the season in Buffallo, it'll be interseting to see how the new receivers will do in their first taste of proper NFL action.
As expected, I was sleeping when we got underway against Notre Dame last night but a fantastic win for us against what looked like a good Irish side.
Devon Gardner showed why there's so much hype surrounding him and the Michigan offense looked very comfortable in possession of the ball!
(8) Louisville 44-7 Eastern Kentucky
(13) Oklahoma State 56-35 UTSA
(21) Wisconsin 48-0 Tennessee Tech
(24) TCU 38-17 Southeastern Louisiana

Everyone is predicting keapernick to rip us a new one today
Well I hope he doesn't
AP does it already!
Well I hope he doesn't
AP does it already!
Edelman puts the Patriots up! Damn I didnt put him in my team this weekend!
All the games are pretty close at HT, except the Cheifs beating up Jacksonville. Geno Smith started well for the Jets, trailung TampaBay 14-12.
Edit...
Hyped up Seattle underwhelming but get the win 12-7.
49ers next week.
Sloppy win for the patriots but a win is a win!
Exciting finish at the Meadowlands. Don't know how many of them I could take. Smith played well - some silly mistakes but a lot to like too! Seeing my boy Revis in another jersey was tough to take though.
Happy with the win but deplorable performance on both sides of the ball.
Against a better side, we'd have been ripped to bits.
Mental game from the Lions. Allow Peterson a 78 yard touchdown run then only 15 yards the rest of the game. Other than some mental mistakes it was really impressive and should have scored at least two more touchdowns. Reggie Bush was incredible.
.
Packers get screwed by the officials again.
The score Last night was probably a fair reflection on the game, however I'm really pleased how well we played against a team that destroyed us last season.
another good win for New Orleans against the dirty birds, nice to see the D step up and make some plays, with the falcons sitting 3rd and 3 with a minute left to play in the redzone i couldnt watch and shut the lappy off  guess if id been at the falkirk semi id have been off at halftime :greengrin with the bucs throwing the game against the jets and the seahawks finally beating carolina its nice to be sitting top of the NFC south after week1
Terrible decision from that Tampa guy, smith was clearly out of bounds.
On a side note, spending super bowl weekend in New York City. Nice.
Has anyone seen the defensive play the Honey Badger made for Arizona against the Rams? Highlights on the nfl site. Unbelievable:top marks
Had a chance to watch the full game (only seen bits and pieces last night) and we're going to need to SERIOUSLY up our game if we're going to beat the Jets on Thursday night.
Our receivers struggle to get open, our reception handling was abysmal last night, our runners looked clueless, our offensive line offered no protection and our defense failed to pick up open receivers.
Think the AFC East could be very tight this year indeed!
Eagles v wash is very entertaining, kellys offense looks great.
RG3 intercepted on his second throw!
RG3 fumbles and results in another Safety. What is going on this season? 4 safeties already!
I loved the Eagles sideline holding the pictures up like they did in College :greengrin

Eagles looked good last night and having seen Dallas and the Giants on Sunday night I don't think there is going to be much between the teams this year, but as an Eagles fan there's nothing to fear from any of the division rivals IMHO. Interesting the Shady McCoy had more yards before half time than any other running back had totalled all weekend, he's going to be dynamite this year.
i'm going to crash the thread again with another question about the game in london.
Are there shops/stalls that sell the teams official jerseys at wembley? I've started collecting jerseys from the games i go to (only got 2 so far :greengrin) and im looking to add to the collection.
any help is appreciated!
Just read that the NFL europe website are doing a click & collect for both games so you can choose any merchandise and pick it up the day of the game, i'm going to do this to guarantee i get the jersey i want. Supposedly it will be up and running within the next couple of days.
Hope this helps anyone who is thinking about buying merchandise.
looking at the teams outfits over the past few years, sorry to say pats fans but your jersey is honking, maybe the worst in the league, all about opinions though, not got much love for the titans or falcons aswell, best ive seen for me is the miami blue :duck:
So awesome on O last year - this year sloppy and poor.
So sloppy on D last year - this year tight.
What a difference.
I'm hanging off before making any conclusions on how our defense actually looks. With the greatest of respect to them, we've so far played Buffalo and the Jets who are far from potent offenses.
I sincerely worry that Matt Ryan and his arsenal of receivers will tear us to pieces in 2 weeks time.
Our offense is absolutely honking this year and again, against better defenses than the Jets/Bills, I wonder where our points are coming from.
Strange to see an NFL story being the "most read" on the BBC news website:

Bama at A&M tonight who we thinking?
Been looking forward to this for months.
