They have money flooding in left, right and centre and still this happens?
Imagine they were actually well run, they would certainly be doing a Yan Dhanda

Would’ve been an even bigger loss if they fitted windows into their hotel rooms
Jealous hobo, peg selling *******s!!
That’s now £50m+ of reported donations ploughed through by this incarnation of Hearts. Still no trophies to show for it. They’ve only won 3 trophies in my lifetime (v Hibs x 4) and all 3 of them were paid for with stolen Lithuanian pension money (1998 not being paid for until Mad Vlad came in with his pilfered cash).
£4m of loans received after the year end from a Director – is this Anderson lending them money now instead of donating? Interesting.
Not that our own club’s financial statements are going to make pleasant reading, but it’s still worth talking about what’s happening with our city rivals.
It surprising that Hearts turnover is almost double ours. For clubs of a similar size, in the same league and same city that's pretty damning on us.
I see where you are coming from and whilst we are certainly doing our best to "Hearts it" with the extra funding we seem to have, there's still few worse examples of the old saying it's not what you've got but what you achieve with it, than the thieves across the city.
All that extra money we keep hearing about, won nothing and still celebrating almost nearly finishing an over budget single tier main stand and a hotel with no windows.

Take the £8 million from group stages off them and put it on our balance and that reverses. It's not sustainable though ad they will have it this year, Aberdeen or Huns next and then Scotland is back to going through playoffs. They waisted that extra income. It's a disgrace we never took advantage of the opportunity 3rd brings
Mind the gap.
Edit. Just noticed this is a thread from last season. How embarrassing.
Still. Mind the gap, though.
Just watched a clip for their AGM on the news where they stated their belief they can challenge for the title with the help of Tony Bloom etc. Tad delusion considering they at the BOTTOM just now. They really are a strange deluded bunch.
"Hearts bean counter Jacqui Duncan highlighted the club’s financial standing with a series of slides. And she brought up a graph that showed that Hearts have benefitted from donations amounting to a staggering £45.7million since they came out of administration in 2014.
£16.2m of that has come from the fans group the Foundation of Hearts, while £29.5m has been handed over from generous benefactors - including board member James Anderson"
And has been responsible for............zero trophies, and a team at the bottom of the table.
Well done everyone - time for wine and canapes?
BBC Heartsound tonight with interview between blowfart McLaughlin and Hearts CEO.
Talking about finishing 2nd, game changer new player analysis/spreadsheet, all is fine and great.
They have literally had over £40m in donations and haven’t won a single trophy, had 2 relegations and are bottom of the league in December. Brass neck doesn’t even come close 🤣🤣🤣

McKinlay confirmed that talks continue with Tony Bloom about investment and reiterated his belief that the recent tie up with the Brighton owner's Jamestown Analytics will be "game changing".
He described the partnership as a "genuine opportunity to compete with the teams above us in Scotland".
McKinlay added: "I was criticised for showing a lack of ambition when I came in for saying I wanted to get back to being the third best team in Scotland.
"The reason for saying that is, with the financial disparity, it's almost impossible. Same way as Celtic have in the Champions League, we all have our level and it tends to follow financials.
"Genuinely, and I know it's not going to happen overnight, but using [Jamestown Analytics'] technology and our finances wisely, I think we can challenge in Scotland."
Asked if that meant he thinks Hearts could one day mount a serious tilt at the title, he said. "I do. I am not going to put a timescale on it.
"Jamestown have put their money where their mouth is in the way they construct their contracts. They are highly incentivised for us to do well and they are very excited about what we can achieve."
That is a very interesting quote from CEO - I had been given impression that this tie up was a big freebie? (because they wanted to be associated with such a mega club :greengrin). It appears from that they are paying commercially and pay more if they achieve 'success'
Did anyone ask him which teams above them in particular?
Is it Celtic, Rangers, Aberdeen, Hibs, Motherwell, Kilmarnock, St Mirren, St Mirren, Ross County, Dundee or Dundee Utd?
Just after watching this ( 16:30 interesting in )😂….

He is an arrogant tool. Bottom of the league *****ed 50mill and coming out with this guff.
he should have been called out for that by any reporter worth their salt.
£50 million in donations and a championship trophy is all they’ve got to show for it 😂😂
I'd be wanting to hide the fact that with circa £46m minimum advantage over all the non OF sides nothing has been won, 2 relegations and at the time of the AGM sitting bottom of the league.
Guess the vague arrangement with Brighton's owners data analysis is the latest distraction from how poor the value has been for the cash that's passed through their hands.
