If we go into this one trying not to lose, we will. If we go into it going about our business as we have done lately and going for the win, we will.

Just watching the end of Atalanta v Empoli, one of the most ridiculous dives of all time from Liam Henderson, he somehow managed to get a free kick for it. 3-2 Atalanta in injury time.
I'm talking about derby defeats in general. They kill you (ie the fans) more than other defeats. A draw and you can just get on with your day. A defeat and you're stewing for at least a couple of days afterwards. So much so that if offered a guaranteed draw right now I'd consider it despite the fact we must have a reasonable chance of winning.
Bournemouth 5th in the table.
Crawley town v Birmingham City SSF . 8:00 . Probably be a one-sided game though might watch it just to see Birmingham Striker Stansfield who I heard was a good player.
Glad it wasn’t me that mentioned this game 🫣

too right, the thug should have been off, referee saw it as well :agree:
Leeds United have finally received a formal apology from the PGMOL for the blatant blunder made during Leeds 1-1 draw at Deepdale. The incident in question saw Preston captain Ben Whiteman escape a second yellow card, and subsequent dismissal, despite a reckless challenge on Jayden Bogle. While the apology acknowledges referee John Busby's failure to correctly apply the laws of the game, the nine-day delay in issuing this acknowledgement raises serious questions about the PGMOL's responsiveness.
The consensus at the time, and seemingly now confirmed by the governing body, was that Whiteman's challenge warranted a red card, leaving Leeds playing against eleven men when they should have had a numerical advantage. The tardiness of the apology is further underscored by the opinion of former PGMOL chief Keith Hackett, who argues such matters should be addressed within a 24-hour timeframe, highlighting the unacceptable lag in accountability.
