They have been playing pretty well at Tynecastle since Critchley came in, in the league games anyway.

Best and most energetic Hearts have played in their last 4 games but still ran out of fuel after an hour.
Have watched those 4 matches. They look tired and the derby will be their 6th game in 19 days which is a punishing schedule for a small club.
In those 4 games Penrice, Devlin and Gordon have IMO been Hearts best players with Spittal their most dangerous.
Baningime and Halkett were missing again today so have to be doubts for Thursday.
Even if Halkett plays he looks slow and would be fair game for Youan or Boyle on the ground.
As for Baningime, good player but hasn't played since the 1st December due to another knee injury and my gut feeling is the game will come too early for him.
Up front for them Shankland did the square root of **** all today with young Wilson more of a threat all game.
Hibs have to be favourites and our best performance of the season yesterday has enhanced that belief in me.
Their crowd will demand effort on Boxing Day but if the game is level after 70 minutes their players tired bodies and minds could kick in and see Hibs take over.
Could end a draw with them hanging on but i'm hopeful we push for and get a win.
Spurs defence isn't great but the movement of Liverpool would test any team in the world, Spurs have been poor today and have games like this in the locker, they play far too open at times.
Liverpool are looking pretty special this season. more trophies heading to Anfield I reckon.
Thanks for info re Hearts. Disappointed to hear that they were quite decent. Not that it would have the slightest bearing on the derby however they’d played today.
Spurs no longer ended as a club.
Spurs get a goal back, cracking goal.
Our odds of winning there shouldn't be based on historical factors. Different team, different manager, different staff, different tactics, different form, different way of approaching the game.... etc. The past should have no baring on the game.
I'm quite happy for them to be considered favourites. But if we do what we have been doing the past several games. We'll be ruthless enough to beat them.

Bonkers game
And another 3-5 now, another good goal too.
3-6 Liverpool
3-6 Liverpool, Diaz
Poetry from Diaz. 6-3, incredible.
I'm expecting a player to shout "any man in" lol
A factor in the minds of weary supporters but in reality irrelevant to the players and Thursday's game.
Hearts advantage is playing at home and that they will start with the same number of players.
However, those players will have played 50% more games in 19 days than Hibs players and they have visibly tired.
IMO that is a more significant factor than home advantage.
As ever time will tell.
