Maybe he is just waiting to see what offers come in. Could be a life changing decision so he may want to see all the cards on teh table rather than play a blind hand. Risks involved in that too but he looks to have great potential and has plenty years to improve. I hope he stays as he looks a real prospect but he hasn't had a look in even when we were struggling in offensive options. I wouldn't blame him for thinking the future is elsewhere.
If he's waiting to see what offers come even though we might have offered him a new deal I think he's been badly advised, our football club has a good history of producing and developing young players and he mighten get one as good . The article says so far Portsmouth, Mk Dons and Swindon are monitoring his situation , a step down from Hibs imo. I think he has good potential as well though the reason he's probably not had a look in , is probably down to the fact he's still only a boy and hasn't the physique yet to deal with the physical demands of the Scottish premier though as you say he has plenty of years to improve as a player.I wouldn't blame him either for thinking is future is better elsewhere though I do think he would be making a big mistake .Quote:
