It's probably an overreaction but after yesterday's pathetic performance, provided we got decent money for them there's not a single member of that squad that I'd be sad to lose.
Normally it's far from ideal to dismantle your side after finishing 3rd, but right now I'd sell Porteous, Doig and Nisbet. We'd get a fair amount for them and we could totally rebuild the squad with that.
Hendry is a very good player on the ball, from what I’ve seen of him in the championship.
One thing he won’t bring to the midfield is legs and dig though.
He’s a creative left footed player who controls the game with his passing and seems to be at the centre of anything. Not a big fan of tracking back though or sticking to his position.
Without a doubt what we need in the first 11 is real character and drive. Scott Brown will bring that to Aberdeen but other than Daz and SDG who are on the bench we have no one.
The most alarming thing from this season has been our inability to come back from a game where we concede first, unless I'm wrong we've done it once all season. That's diabolical.
Without addressing this there's no chance we'll finish 3rd next season IMO. With Hearts back in the league and the Dons strengthening we'll struggle in those games with this side, as much as I hate to say it it's true.
Thinking back to the Stubbs side and the same team under Lennon, it felt like we came back from going behind all the time. We had our off days but the team had something about it which this current team has none of.
It's true but I'd say we miss a player with his attitude to life and winning mentality first of all without mentioning his ability. We could have a player with the ability of, say, Newell but with the attitude of Mcginn.
Where John goes success tends to follow and that's not just because he's got great ability it's also because he rubs off on all his team mates.
We may not find a McGinn, but I'm sure as hell wanting Jack Ross to stop signing 'safe' midfielders' and get a couple in who are creative and can make/score goals. Next season I want much more in the way of creativity. None of the present midfielders give us that.
Been told we’re after Devante Cole, out of contract now.
I’m not going to make out it’s 100% certain but he’s certainly been correct in the past but like some others obviously don’t quite pan out.
He seemed confident though that we were interested and had made this known to the player.
Seems the type of player Ross would go for too imo which is part of the reason I’m positing it.
Physical, fast, a goal scorer and will be a cheap option with potential to sell later and knows the league. Plenty growth yet in Cole and he would be really good competition for our strikers.
Have we signed Griffiths yet?

Aberdeen’s ITK poster reckons they’re signing Irvine.
Irvine's a decent player, but if he's going to Aberdeen over us then he'll probably be one of their highest earners. I don't think I'd stretch budget that much for him.
I think there was an upturn in the teams performance and balance when he joined. A lot of games seem to pass him by though.
If he stays then great, he’s showed enough in glimpses he has something about him.
If he goes I don’t care.
I wouldn’t break the bank tk keep him.
From a PR perspective, it wouldn’t be a great look for him to join Aberdeen now
Meh. Started off well for us but faded badly. Not sure how I’d feel about him going to sign for them.
In saying that a decent preseason for him could make all the difference.
Guess I’d be a bit pissed off if we’ve gave him a chance to kick start his career only for him to go and sign for Aberdeen. Still reckon we could do better
