My concern about Lafferty wouldn’t be so much his ability as I’m sure he’d score goals but much like Stokes I’d be concerned that he’d be a disruptive and bad influence on other players within the squad.Quote:

We didn't have to play with a defensive mid with SJM and McGeough because they had an understanding. I think Vela and Slivka could develop that.

To turn draws into wins we need some physicality in the midfield area to either break up play and start attacks or defend a narrow lead - someone with energy too.
