I had the same - and tbh I’m not even buying as I’m in London and can’t make it
But I still wanted to login and it just wouldn’t work - I’m also not using VPN
I gave up after a few goes but I’d be extremely frustrated if I was trying to buy tickets

Could be more or them than there is of us!!
I was surprised at all the blue on the stadium map
I hope sales pick up especially with the Pat Stanton Stand aspect

Just checked on tickets and still a huge number left for both West and East. Hopefully the renaming of the East will improve sales fast. It would be great if it was full for the naming ceremony, but at the moment doesn’t look likely.
I always felt we got the dates of the testimonial and this game the wrong way round (from a purely marketing point of view, I accept there are other logistics).
Had the 150th game been a Saturday I think a lot of people would have made a real day of it, met up early and planned to stay out late and had a proper celebration. A midweek smack bang in the most popular time for summer holidays in Edinburgh makes that a lot less likely. I'm going but it will be a quick trip home, changed and back out rather than making it any kind occasion. Had it been the Saturday I would have been out for the day.
With all due respect to Darren McGregor a testimonial against a team like Bolton was never likely to attract any kind of numbers. We have seen it for both Lewis Stevenson and David Gray in recent years, they just don't attract crowds. With a more attractive date and time I feel like the Essen game could have been a bigger event than it looks like it is going to be.
Testimonials games very rarely attract decent crowds, especially against a League 1 club. There is also the fact that footballers make a very good living whilst playing. I appreciate Daz never had a long time in the Scottish Premiership but he will still have made more than most guys that are being asked to cough up for his game.
As the for the 150th Anniversary game it just has not caught the imagination of our supporters. I know every few ST holders that are going. The timing also seem odd, why play it on a Wednesday night during the Edinburgh trades.
Both these games will struggle to get more than 6000 in attendance.
Are you using work WiFi?
I just tried and same happened to me on the work WiFi, but I work for a US company and even though I'm based on Glasgow I've notice before some sites think I'm accessing from US (Strava and Google maps).
Works fine when I use mobile data vs work WiFi
Pat Stanton Stand Fanzone Open For Rot-Weiss Essen Friendly
A pop-up fanzone supported by Tennent’s will open outside the Pat Stanton Stand for our 150th anniversary celebration fixture against Rot-Weiss Essen!
Open from 3.30pm on Wednesday 9 July, the Pat Stanton Stand fanzone will be free to enter for supporters attending our first home match of the 2025/26 season.
Tickets for the match are on sale now with a special discount for Season Ticket Holders and prices starting from just £5.
There are apparently over 2,000 Essen fans coming to the game. You really think there will only be around three or four thousand Hibs fans there? Like others I'm bemused at the lack of interest for what's a unique occasion. It's caught my imagination. I was in Germany last time we played them and I love this nod to our European history. Tickets are only a tenner and a fiver. Be a bit sad to see the new Pat Stanton stand sparsely populated for its opening.
Is the 'trades' really a big thing any more? I remember our old butcher used to close every year for those two weeks until he retired but latterly he was the only shop I knew which did so.

No idea how I got it to work on my wife's phone or how the first ticket added to my Apple Wallet on my phone but the second one didn't.
