Getting asked personal, financial questions by taxi drivers and delivery drivers. Got a taxi home from the airport this morning and when he dropped us off, the driver asked how many bedrooms we had how much we paid for the house. Told him it was none of his business.
We’ve had a few instances of food delivery drivers asking the same sort of thing. One even asked how much our monthly mortgage payment was.
Very strange behaviour.

I remember listening to a radio programme (think it was on LBC) and the discussion was on racial connotations used. After the fiasco at the Scotland vs Georgia game, we decided to book somewhere to stay for the England game. Booked an “apartment” essentially a wee studio for a reasonable price. All confirmed and sorted from the day after the Georgia game.
Place has now cancelled on us saying they had inadvertently double booked as it was listed on both booking.com and Air BnB. Booking.com offered somewhere else but when I went to accept that it had gone… but funnily enough the one that had cancelled on us was now available again but for more money. Blatantly trying to make a buck out of it being the England game.
