Just finished 'The missing ' BBC drama with James Nesbit , Can't believe it's been out since 2014 !!! Utterly outstanding !!
I then find out their is a series 2 ! Which was out in 2016 ! Where have i been ??
Brilliant tv viewing right their !
Logan Roy: Hibby!
Heroes
Being shown again on BBC2 first couple of seasons are great.
As relevant a thread as I’ll find. Watching the Simpson’s just now and this was the intro. WTF! Not sure what I just watched. Best just sticking to the first 10 series!

Wasn’t a fan of Hard Sun...not sure I even finished it but no letting that put me off I started on Thirteen tonight.
Got to say it’s pretty good so far so thanks for the heads up.
That said I’m for ever waiting for Villanelle to appear from behind the mask and stab someone every time Ivy gets annoyed or distressed [emoji23][emoji23]
Watched the 1st episode of Prodigal Son on Sky really enjoyed it.
Been recommended the Fall on Netflix will start that next week
Been watching Handmaid's Tale now its on Prime.
Just started season 2 but I'm still no sure about it.
New season of the Boys starts on Amazon in September, loved the first season, Karl Urban is great in it.
I’ve just finished Dark on Netflix, it’s a Germany series that’s been dubbed into English. The story line was brilliant and I really enjoyed it, but I think you lose something when you can’t hear the actors voices. I’d definitely recommend it though.
I'm going to throw in Mrs.America.
It's a bit of a slog, but it moved me to find out more about a period of recent history that is probably little known about by those of us of a certain age, nationality and gender.
Cate Blanchett is, as ever, wonderful. As is Tracey Ullman.
Never watched it but have the book, which I guess has a narrative that aligns with the end of season one. The book is a fine piece of work.
One of those ones that I would consider but with almost limitless access through on-demand, we have four different series running at the moment, a bunch of films and documentaries piled up and that’s before all the live sport kicks back in!
Then you have all the add-ons like Mrs Mibbes wanting attention, children wanting attention, household jobs, it is remorseless.
Watching Gangs of New York, never got the critics hate, thought it was brilliant.
Scorsese apparanlty was unhappy with the final edit so awaiting the directors cut. One of Scorsese's most loved actors is a Hibs fan, he asked Scorsese to change the script from Hibernian B@tards to Hibernian hordes cos he couldn't say it. Anyways, Scorsese has a few Scottisb actors in his collection. I doubt they are all Hibs but its funny
Finished Baptiste utterly outstanding
It would be interesting to see how they match up, I do know that Hughie is different in the TV show compared to the comics, he is the son of Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan and looks nothing like the comic version, apparently the character is based on Simon Pegg, the show is messed up but I love it, some great one liners in it too.
I'm enjoying Snowpiercer on Netflix.
My guilty pleasure is Wynonna Earp
The books are very different but basic premise. Hughie is indeed modeled on Simon Pegg (hence why he plays his father) and he's from Glasgow in the books.
The books start brilliantly. Just Butcher on a bench, sees Homelander flying in the sky and simply says "I'm going to ****ing have you, you ****." :faf: set the tone!
Did notice in the trailer for season 2 a quick glimpse of Butchers dog Terror... hope he's the same!!
Been watching Bloodline on netflix, bit of a slow burner at first but getting really good now (just on first season)
I just watched The Australian Dream - a documentary about Adam Goodes an indigenous Aussie Rules player who stood up to racism. Really enjoyed it. Might still be on iPlayer - I recorded it on bbc2 a week or so ago.
West Wing cast re-uniting to 'get out the vote'

For anyone who likes Gomorrah then the film L'Immortale about Ciro is out if you are missing your fix
Cobra Kai season 2 now on Netflix
Flying through the documentaries just now and watched Worlds Most Wanted over the past couple of days. I see that Felicien Kabuga was finally arrested this year while they were completing the documentary. The Russian mobster may be a tricky one to catch but the other 3 will surely be caught some day, hopefully starting with the British jihadist lady. Crazy story her life.
'The Movies' on Sky Documentaries is worth a watch.
I watched two excellent documentaries over the weekend, they are on Sky Crime, first one was Outcry about a high school American footballer accused of sexual assault and the other one was I will be gone in the dark which is about the East Area Rapist, a guy who raped 50 women and killed 12 people in the 70s and 80s
The latter also known as the Golden State Killer. In 2018 I watched a 5-part documentary on the Golden State Killer, at this point his identity was unknown. I found it an interesting watch while utterly horrifying. Several weeks after the last episode aired they arrested someone. They followed up with another 2-part documentary on the man arrested. Crazy story but good that someone has finally been brought to justice, albeit 30 odd years too late.
Finished season 2 of Condor, tad predictable but, decent enough. After a few years absence managed to finish Prison Break and Graceland too. Both very far fetched but, good individual characters. (Serinda Swan on Graceland for obvious reasons).
Just finished ‘Cobra Kai’ on Netflix. Really good.
New series of The Boys starting today, that'll be getting watched
Thanks. I remember the movie but don’t actually really remember it if you get my drift....been a rather long time since it was last watched!
Think I’ll give this a miss.
Watched the second season of Dirty John and while it’s an interesting story it really wasn’t quite the same pace or feel of the first. Well acted and the changing fashions over the decades it covers kept the Mrs entertained but I’d not bother if I had my time over again.
Think someone maybe mentioned it on here earlier but I’m watching The Capture on iPlayer, really enjoying it, I feel like I did when watching inception, I’ve got absolutely no idea what is real and what isn’t. I’m on episode 3 and I still have no idea where it’s going.
Bought a new ipad and apple devices at the moment come with a 12 month subscription to apple tv+.
I wouldnt have bothered normally but set it up and watched Greyhound (film). Was ok
Watching 'See' with Jason Momoa (Stargate Atlantis, Aquaman etc).
Its different, I'll give it that. The queen has an interesting method when praying......
Binged all 3 series of the Fall in about 2 weeks , Loved series 1&2 ...Series 3 was absolute meh ! What a complete cop out of an ending ! ..Frustrated to say the least
Agree on that. 1&2 were great. 3 felt like they got the commission but really didn’t have any story left. Still watchable though and all in all a good recommendation from this thread yet again.
Currently watching the latest offering of Cormoran Strike on the BBC. Always a good watch those [emoji106]
Just finished Away on Netflix, I thought it was a bit predictable.
Just seen an advert for new series of Ambulance starting on Wednesday. Looking forward to that.
I watched the 20 second trailer and determined it looked guff....glad I saved myself 20 minutes then [emoji106]
Just finished Young Wallander.
Aside from the random accents and the fact it was filmed in Lithuania and that it’s set in the present (a bit odd for a prequel!) I actually really enjoyed it. It gets mixed reviews but as a detective yarn goes I thought it was pretty good.
Have recently been watching the first two series of 'Succesion' via Now TV. Tremendously gripping and intricate plotting, great dialogue, humour and superb acting from an ensemble cast. Famous here for involving a scene where a son buys the wrong football team for his Scottish oligarch father, played by Brian Cox.
Also 'Watchmen', also on Sky Atlantic, a sequel to the graphic novel and film, brilliantly done. All the complex threads come together in the final episode. Genius, and also taught me something about black history in the Tulsa massacre where black businesses were destroyed to halt the self emancipation of black people and many lives destroyed.

Someone mentioned Gangs of London, watching it now dystopian visions but there are plenty of places get close to that and not just in London........
Just watched the final episode of How to get away with murder, more twists and turns than a twisty turny thing, I really enjoyed it though.
Cobra Kai season 2 :top marks Outstanding!!
I know it's not everyone's cup of Tea but if you loved the Karate kids and enjoy a bit 80's Nostalgia then this is for you !! Cheesy ? 100% but thoroughly enjoyed it
Their is a reason it's to be renewed for a 3rd season :thumbsup:
Pure class watching Johnny Lawrence and Daniel Larusso square up 35 years later :top marks
Ratched (about the nurse from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest) which is starting soon on Netflix looks like it could be quite good.
Des , How ****ing good was that ?
Never been so riveted to watch 3 episodes in a long time ! David Tennant :top marks
The Third Day
watched the first episode, certainly got my attention got a bit of a wicker man vibe going on.
