The lady who’d lost both her kids 😢
Man that was a sad story. There’s some people you just wish you could reach into the tv and hug

Have just watched the whole season 1 of Auf Wiedersen Pet in about 2 days. Absolutely brilliant TV and for me the best comedy of all time.
Although there are some elements in it that simply wouldn't be allowed in these days it's still a brilliant watch.
Finished ‘The Last Dance’
Certainly one of the best documentaries I’ve seen. MJ has to be one of the(if not) greatest sportsperson of all time.
fantastic footage of a fantastic team.
10/10
I've seen it before (just the once) but started The Sopranos from the beginning this weekend - through season one and the first couple in season two already. What a show that is!
Yeah, I had seen most of it before but Mrs Mibbes didn’t know anything about it, so we went through it, couple of episodes every night, not long finished. It is brilliant. I think the fact it focuses on family - personal or Mafia - but mostly personal, is what makes it so spectacular. Tony is just a middle aged guy struggling with his job, his wife and his kids :greengrin
Inhuman Resources on Netflix wirh Eric Cantona is pretty good, not a spoiler but he delivers a headbutt halfway through the first episode that rivals his drop kick on the palace fan.
I missed McMafia when it was on first, I’m watching it now and really liking it.
I know a few posters enjoy true crime documentaries. I watched Murder in the Outback on All 4
Watched it all, thought that the girlfriend Joanna came across really cold, and thought it strange that two days after her boyfriends murder/disappearance she was arranging to meet up with another guy, also not speaking to press was raising a few flags, interesting story and the guy that is in jail for it, could he be innocent?
Will add that to the list ^
Just watched both series of After Life. Thought it was brilliant.
13th and Who Killed Malcolm X on Netflix were both excellent.
I've been watching loads of Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown lately. Great show.
Just starting the last episode of Defending Jacob. It’s awfy good.
The Woods on Netflix is good , Dubbed but brilliant , Harlan Coben masterclass again
‘Reckoning’ on Netflix is good. Halfway through and it keeps you changing your mind who the killer is.
I watched the new Spike Lee film on Netflix last night. I hated it. I may have missed the point, though, so I'd be keen to hear the views of others.
The Greg Louganis documentary on Sky on demand was good - he’s the guy that hit his head on the diving board at the 1988 olympics.
Started two doors down. Finding it a good easy watch and pretty funny
Watching Early Doors yet again, very underrated.
Rewatching Banshee just finished S1 forgot how mental the violence is!
I really enjoyed the first part of The Salisbury Poisoning on bbc one last night. The production is quite low key but it was extremely well done, it really is an unbelievable story, hard to believe it was 2 years ago now.
I watched the first part of Murder in the Car Park tonight, I honestly can’t believe I’d never heard this story until someone on here recommend the Podcast, Untold: The Daniel Morgan story. It really is an unbelievable story, sadly I don’t think his family will ever get justice.
Watched Everton: Howard’s Way, about Howard Kendall’s team of the mid 80s. Really enjoyed it.
Watching I Know This Much Is True with Mark Ruffalo on Sky just now, excellent even if it is sometimes hard to watch.
Just watching stranger things the now, halfway through season two.
The BBCs Glastonbury weekend is superb. Currently watching Radiohead from 1997.
Athlete A on Netflix is disturbing viewing.
Horrible to think of what these young girls experienced and will have to live with for the rest of their lives.
What's even more horrible is that its probably the tip of the iceberg around the world. Paedophiles will target organisations like this everywhere.
It beggars belief that adults who should know better choose to protect them in the name of winning medals rather than protecting children.
If you're looking for a decent detective series, then you could do worse than Cardinal on BBC iplayer.
Finished white lines on Netflix this week, don’t know what to think about it really, enjoyed the story but some of the ‘trouble’ the characters found themselves in along the way was pretty outrageous, soundtrack was great though
Just finished Ray Donovan - really good series. Disappointed to read there is no season 8.
Finished Turn : Washington's Spies, highly recommend it (4 seasons).
Floor is Lava. Strangely entertaining.
The Truman Show added to Netflix. Tonight's viewing sorted.
I’m watching Firefly on prime. I’m absolutely loving it, god knows why it was cancelled after one series.
Probably been mentioned already as it is six year old, TV Movie called Marvellous. It's about Neil Baldwin who has learning difficulties, Stoke City daft and Lou Macari gives him a job while manager at Stoke
It was on BBC the other night so should be available on catch up
Neil Baldwin
It's probably an oversimplification on my part but if he hadn't cut the rope both of them would have died. He cut the rope and both survived. He made the correct decision.
Yates and Simpson are no longer on speaking terms but Simpson has always defended Yates and said he would have done exactly the same thing had the roles been reversed.
The new series of Unsolved Mysteries on Netflix is excellent. I loved the original series and used to watch it with my mum when I was much younger, but the stories this new series covers are incredible.
The Dupont de Ligonnes massacre is an utterly bonkers story and I hope it gets resolved one day (no spoilers, but even if you don't/can't watch the show, I recommend reading up about this - it's crazy!).
That's next on my list.
Currently watching The Innocence Files which someone in here mentioned before. Terrifying to see what 'evidence' put people beyind bars. The Innocence Project only get through a very small amount of cases put to them so there will be many more out there.
Just noticed slasher 3 on Netflix ! 2 episodes in , I like all that gory stuff :greengrin
The Boys on Amazon is tremendous!
Just finished Banshee for the second time.
Usually give up half way through when I rewatch stuff but this is up there with the best for me.
BBC Iplayer for Staged. 15 minute episodes featuring David Tennant and Michael Sheen.
The Rise of The Murdoch Dynasty on BBC2 at the moment is pretty harrowing viewing.
Undercover on Netflix, has kept my attention quite well even though it is a dutch programme. :aok:
Just watched The Departure again, what an amazing cast and soundtrack. Van Morrison singing comfortably numb. Stunning
Once Upon a Time in Iraq on the BBC iplayer is superb.
Finished Slasher season 3 last night was great :top marks
Down to earth with Zac Efron, really enjoyed this bit hippy at times questionable banter but I liked it.
Great movie starting now on C4, Three Billboards outside Ebbing Missouri
I watched season 3 of the sinner on Netflix, I definitely recommend it. All 3 seasons are really good.
Watched The Matrix again recently and it was as good as j remember it. Arguably the greatest Sci-Fi film of all time.
I've been watching The Story of God with Morgan Freeman on Netflix.
It's not particularly heavy hitting but it's quite an interesting watch.
Must admit I found season 3 a bit crap to be honest. Not a patch on the first two in my highly inexpert opinion [emoji2957]
Thought it was going to be quite good half way through then it never really fired for me. Think it would have been miles better if the character of focus was Nick rather than his ultimately quite boring, and only half committed to mayhem, side kick.
I liked it, but it was definitely different from the first two as you knew who was guilty and there wasn’t going to be the dramatic twist that there was in the first two. I agree that nick was definitely the most interesting character in it and I thought that the older woman was going to have a role in what happened early on.
Ive also just watched a short story compilation called Silent Eye, it’s like Tales of the Unexpected. The acting was pretty terrible and the stories were weird, I can’t work out whether I just didn’t get it sometimes or it was just rubbish.
Have been watching this over the last few nights and just watched this episode now. Crazy stuff!
I'd actually read about the case last year when there was an article that police at Glasgow airport thought they had arrested a man in connection with it (but they hadn't).
New prequel to Sopranos planned Michael Gandolphi due to star in it, its about Tony's dad and Uncle Junior, same writers as well as production team. , Quite excited about it to be honest.
I’ve just started rewatching it, series 1 episode 5, just watched that tremendous College episode where he meets up with the rat.
I actually had the box set on VHS, shows you how long ago it was!
Im scared the new thing will be crap and they’ll spoil the legacy :worried:
Good film but probably not even in the top 25 sci-fi films for me.
When I saw The Matrix at the cinema following the scene where Trinity briefly runs along a wall the woman next to me turned to her pal and said "ha, as if she could do that".
Everything else in the film was doable obviously.
Certainly it is a matter of opinion. In defence of the matrix though it does rate quite highly on an empire magazine list I read - I think it was 4th best sci-fi film. I didn't agree with all of the list but it did have blade runner and alien above the matrix which is good enough for me.
I watched the matrix in the cinema on Lothian Road and just as it hit the dojo fight scene the fire alarm went off, was raging
That lady sounds like my pal, we were watching one of the Lord of the rings films and Legolas slides down stairs on a shield and my pal goes I'm no having that, bud we are watching a film about elves and orcs haha
Started the Wu-Tang documentary on Sky - well worth watching. I’m only one episode in but it’s on a par with The Defiant Ones so far.
Watched the second series of What We Do In The Shadows. Thought the film was quite good, first series had its moments but was a bit disappointing. Second series was much better IMO. An easy watch for half an hour.
Finished ‘Reckoning’ on Netflix, decent serial killer thriller.
Very much looking forward to watching 'Fear City: New York v The Mafia'. I've got a slightly obsession with mafia programmes.
For those fans of boxing and/or the Mob, Pariah- The Lives and Deaths of Sonny Liston.
Fascinating documentary on Sky.
