Some of the journeys parcels take are laughable though. I'm tracking 2 DPD parcels for my work this morning. One left us in Edinburgh on Wednesday last week, destination Melrose. It made a journey to Birmingham where it arrived on Thursday, sat there until yesterday then yesterday travelled from Birmingham to a depot in Carlisle before being loaded onto a van there for delivery to Melrose this morning. Distance between Edinburgh and Melrose approx. 40 miles. Distance said parcel has traveled will be well over 500 miles by the time it is delivered. That's mental.
The second one is even worse. Parcel picked up from our Glasgow warehouse on Thursday last week, destination is Broxburn. Parcel went to a local depot in Cambuslang on Thursday evening, from Cambuslang to Hinckley on Friday, from Hinckley back to Cambuslang on Saturday, from Cambuslang to Edinburgh yesterday and then out for delivery to Broxburn this morning. That's pushing 700 miles for a a destination that is about 35 miles from point of origin.
My wife had a package that was meant to be delivered on Friday. Seemingly didn’t come. However, I went to put something in the wheelie bin on Sunday and noticed a package behind our side gate. Look at the Ring cameras and it appears the delivery driver never even rang the bell and just chucked it over the fence - luckily nothing breakable. I was in when he did that too!
Another one recently… normally I detest the amount of packaging Amazon put their stuff in but recently I’ve had a few things delivered in no packaging at all… not great when your wife takes delivery of their Christmas present!

The PO didn't put WA on the stamp on my son's birthday present. It went to Canada before returning to me. It then, after being clearly marked by my local postie, went to Armadale in West Lothian despite being clearly marked as air mail.

We used to have a really good Yodel driver but then he was changed for another guy who was almost as good. Now he’s gone and it just isn’t the same.
That’s the last 3 packages we’ve had from Yodel that have had the out for delivery status, only for them to go missing before delivery has been attempted. All clearly booze as well. Wish Naked Wines, Beer Hawk and Beerwulf would move to unmarked boxes. The last couple of Beer Hawk keg collections haven’t made their way back either.

Just showed you the crowd after Messi scored and about 90% of them were filming it on their mobiles.
Nobody wants to watch their *****y videos, enjoy the moment.
I understand the reasons for it, but it's a shame when they don't show protestors running on the pitch when it happens. I want to see the chase with security.
