Wow, that was close! Won by exactly 2 points!
Thank goodness Doug Martin was IA this week and Gatey failed to remove him from the starting lineup :greengrin

106 points and I lost :grr:
First win on the board despite RG III getting injured early on
Just submitted another waiver request before noticing I was 16th in the list again...:brickwall
Byrds and the Brees can **** right off :agree:
just brought in someone whos out till week 12 haha, rookie mistake!!
I wanted Bobby Rainey as my RB regime is a wee bit limited just now with Ronnie Hillman counting splinters in his arse :greengrin
I managed to swap out my rookie TE who isn't playing for the Giants TE, who leads their team on receiving yards...I also got him as a Free Agent, which was surprising!
I also wanted Bobby Rainey since both my starting RBs are banged up, potentially for weeks.
Who had AP? As he has been deactivated this morning.
I have a waiver request for him and I am #2 on the list. I can't see who is above me so I don't know if that person even needs a player / RB. I can manage with out him, just hoping that Jamaal is not out for too long but Mathews injury is more likely a multi-week thing. Getting two injuries to starters in the same position is crappy luck in a 16 player league.
so i should delete my waiver request for asiata as it seems everyone above me has a claim in fr him :greengrin
Who has John Dwyer of the Cards? Another child abuse case.
I'll never understand this game. How does a team who lose 56 points score me 11 points on D# :greengrin.
One of my wide receivers just threw a TD :greengrin
so i trade in Brian Quick who scores but isn't picked. I feel a loss coming on already!
If Andrew Luck could have a second half similar to his first that'd be great
With Gatey picking 2 IA players, this really is a lot closer than it should be.
Looks like I'm starting 0-3
I miss the days when the Seahawks were dreadful. Julius Thomas only has 0.9 points at the half against them :grr:
I'm having a low scoring week. Just as well I'm matched up against Haymaker this week then.... :greengrin

I trail by 8 with both of us having Bears players still to go - mine Cutler and his, Jeffrey, who's currently listed as Questionable...
A good night for Jeffrey is a good night for Cutler so I'm not done yet.
if Jay Cutler wants to twist an ankle while out walking the dog i wouldnt be unhappy  gonna be a close end to our matchup
I slumped to my first defeat, beaten by 3.90 points, painful
I've lost this week, 40 points behind with Marshall to play. No one has performed this week for me.
Hitting the waiver wire hard this week - reckon Pitta will be out for the season as that's his second dislocated hip (which is quite difficult to do once, never mind twice!) and could possibly be a career-ender.
Also, players like Hillman and Amendola are wasting space just now!
Rookie question: Why do i get a vote on a trade not involving my team?
Not going to vote against cause I'm no bothered:greengrin
Anyone want Steve Johnson for a RB?
It does feel that leagues this big are more about luck than skill in all honesty - acquire a reasonable team and be lucky with injuries and you'll be fine.
You start picking up injuries and it's problematic as so many people in a waiver order means it becomes difficult to pick up replacements.
I would give you a better deal than that for Eddie Lacy, I have some top receivers sitting on the bench most weeks way better than what you're getting with that trade:confused:
But it's probably bad form to vote against a trade just because I want to outbid the other guy:greengrin
Yes, that would be bad form... :greengrin
Who are the top receivers sitting on your bench anyway? Terrance Williams is on a par with anyone on your bench I would say.
I don't think it is that bad a deal for Haymaker, two pretty steady fantasy scorers (which he needs right now) for someone who has been poor so far this season but who I can afford to stash and hope he picks up some form. Haymaker can't afford to do that.
Terrance Williams is a donkey compared to some of my studs:greengrin
there is no doubt in my mind that Eddie Lacy will come good in a very big way (he's been up against some good defences in recent weeks), so im surprised Haymaker went for it, but I guess you both know your own business:greengrin
Ah well, looks like the injuries cost me dear in the end - 2-1
I was just looking at one of my other teams and this week could be interesting. Six bench players - I have four players on a bye with the remaining two being Jake Locker and Darren McFadden. 6 out of 9 of the players on my roster are playing on Monday night. :)
Tom Brady
Rob Gronkowski
New England D/ST
Jamaal Charles (subject to practice and injury reports)
Dwayne Bowe
Travis Kelce
What could go wrong? LOL.
Haud me back - I got all 3 waiver requests! :aok:
I see the Celek Few has picked up TRich, who I lost patience with last week. I play Celek Few this week, if he has a big game I will officially throw up my hands and admit this season is a write off:na na:
Wasn't holding out much hope on getting T-Rich but pleased to pick up Ladarius Green. I had an eye on him during the draft but he got picked before I could take him. Has a nice match up with the Jags this week while Julius Thomas is on his bye.
I'm having no luck with my QB's. RG III injured, got Hoyer in for him. Now Tucker is potentially injured for this weekend and Hoyer is on his bye week :grr:
Got Teddy Bridgewater available?
Ive got Bortles if you want to trade for him? Guaranteed starter now.
I've started a bidding war
Glad I managed to get a replacement for Cassel - he's done for the season!
I just dropped a Patriot and picked up a Jet - I feel dirty, however, Amendola has had a totally woeful start to the year!
Gents you're offers are tempting however I can't afford to let Dez or Gio go.
Has he been awful or should we be looking more toward Brady? I checked ESPN and Amendola has 3 receptions on 8 targets for 16 yards. Compare that to Edelman with 22 receptions from 28 targets for 260 yards. Night and day but he has received almost 4x the number of looks.
That said, I don't think I want any Patriots receivers on my team. I even read recently that Brady is almost of no significance in fantasy land (I'm not dropping him in my other league though since, hopefully, this is just a slow start and maybe calf-related).
I really screwed up. When Chad Henne had that great week 1 I picked him up and let Bortles go as I thought there was no chance he'd be starting by week 4, even though I drafted him because I thought he'd be starting by week 4.
Now I'm QBless for the week. The week that my star RB and defense are also missing. And Kyle Rudolph is out of the picture.
And to make matters worse, I was going to pick up Jordan Matthews last week after Dameshek said he fancied him to score a TD at the weekend but I never. Numpty.
