Share Transfers Agreed/Cooling off period

If ever there was any doubt that Hearts should be liquidated, pure and simple, then this report confirms it.

I struggle to find words strong enough to convey my feelings about it, but its disgusting. So much damage done in their wake, and for what? To crow about winning a few football matches.

They are a disgrace to football and clubs like this MUST be eliminated if football is ever to regain any respect in society.

Their craven fans seem to think this is all a lark, but there are real world consequences to this debt. Real people lose their jobs, real businesses go bust, and real taxpayers have to pay more to cover the losses to the public purse.

Well run and socially responsible clubs like Hibs, St Johnstone, Raith Rovers and so on SHOULD NOT play in a league system with clubs like Hearts and Sevco as we are then tacitly approving their actions. We are tainted by association.

In addition, supporters of well run clubs have been cheated out of the money they have paid in supporting their own clubs, as it was a rigged game.

We should be demanding their expulsion from football, and then cheering their dissolution by law. However Scottish Football (and let's face it world football in general) is corrupt and as far from socially responsible as it's possible to get.

Some may say I'm taking this too seriously. Just ask someone who has seen their business fail, or has lost their job because of the actions of Hearts how seriously they feel about it.

A couple of posters offered a suggestion a few pages back. Along the lines of this new total representing the total to be paid over the course of the years left remaining on their lease - Or something like that.

Take a scroll back and see.

I would guess the £5 million owing to Heriot Watt will be the construction cost of the training centre which will have been included in their lease agreement and written down over the years of the lease. ( that is assuming they actually paid their rent money. )

If the lease agreement is now cancelled it is a good way for Heriot Watt to tidy up their books and get the new sports centre of excellence built without pesky Yams wanting a turn.

Proper fans already know or will find out soon enough and your average punter doesn't care. Mainstream media will always just give a rough overview unfortunately.

In the case of football as I've said a few times, everyone is scared to rock the boat. It's a reasonably close knit community in Scottish Football and you'd only really get one big story before all your contacts and access would dry up and you basically become a leper.

My job is to do all the grunt work and digging as well as keep up relationships with people who can help us (hence my contact at Tynecastle). If the news reported everything I dig up then the papers would be 800 pages long and news programs would be on for a couple of hours.

The FoI info I got in July explained the Council had over estimated what the Council was owed by Yams because they had assumed they would not have been paid for the PBS rates for the first half of this financial year. However, BDO had to start paying the Rates the day they took over.

The residential council tax is for private lets taken for staff. I see D J Alexander the letting agent are due £ 6500.

Wow they have shafed a lot of people. Amazing how the media still see them as victims.

This amount will have been included in all their business plans for future years. They WILL NOT receive a penny in settlement of these sums.

So they are trumpeting that the CVA achieved a 100% vote of the shareholders but less than 30% of the total shareholding voted with near 50% (the biggest single shareholding) frozen by the law in Lithuania and a further 15% somewhere in Switzerland. If other reports are to be believed most shareholders didn't receive notification until after the vote had taken place

And just over £13m of a total debt of £29m/£33m voted in favour of the CVA and its carried (conditionally) with a reported approval of 87%. Were all creditors notified in time?

Is this bizarre or is it only me? :confused:

A cursory glance over the new list of creditors and a couple of numbers jump out.

Right above the HMRC debt figure of £ 1,881,065 is a HMRC - VAT debt of a further £ 646,851, so total debt to tax man was £ 2,527,916.

This extra debt is not used in the vote against the CVA :confused:

In the vote for the CVA there is a figure of £ 46,317.45 accredited to G4S Secure Solutions (UK) ltd. In the Company creditors list the G4S debt is noted as £ 12,087.57. Over £ 34,000 of a discrepancy. :confused:


None of this would make any difference to the vote outcome unless BDO's other sums are very wrong too. :greengrin

Any Vat incurred after the start of admin. would be paid for by the admin. If it was incurred before admin, it should be included in the HMRC vote , that is assuming HMRC had been informed of the additional debt .

What is even more frightening is an MP and the "first minister" are bending over backwards to help them, I wonder if they would be doing the same if it was a political party that had cheated and robbed on this scale? He was/is the sole director of HMFC Ltd. Appointed 10.06.13.

The worth of the companies of which he is a director is around about £0, but by all accounts he founded and sold Novafone back in the 90's so he may well have money hiding somewhere.

I read that list of company directorships and see a half-bit chancer. Given the Yams and their ability to assess the credentials of potential owners, I wouldn't be surprised if they start getting excited about Bob's extensive portfolio of business interests.

I've been able to vote for over 40 years now and I don't think I have missed a single opportunity to vote in all that time, be it council,region, Holyrood or Westminster. I vote for a candidate rather than a party so my votes have been widely spread.
