Is it luck though? The stats from the game suggest it definitely isn’t

Shankland is a proven goal scorer in Scotland. Our recruitment team can’t or won’t unearth players like that, we prefer unknown quantities, a bit like our “left field” managerial appointments.

Shankland is doing the job of a main striker and coming up with goals regularly.
Even looking at the stats when we had Nisbet - Shankland getting 20+ goals and on course to do same this season. Nisbet max was 15 but usually around 12/13 goals.
This season..our top scorers Doidge - Vente and Alf and Campbell have 3 goals each.
Last few years Hearts have had Craig Gordon winning games with ridiculous saves and now Shankland getting them points.
It's about time Hibs found players who deliver more often rather than the inconsistency we see.
It’s mad to me there hasn’t been more concrete interest in shankland before January, especially on the face of it.
Ross co coulda won it there
killie 2 Dundee 1
Mutton Fumblers 0 St Mirren 3 😆
Robson definitely be out the door now.
If we had beaten Aberdeen in Semi final - Robson would probably have gone but somehow we didn't.
St Mirren winning really isn't great for us either.
Edit - 2v2 now with Killie v Dundee.
Killie 2 Dundee 2

2 draws in the Hearts /Killie games help us out, no doubt we’ll fail to take advantage next week🙄
