One of my son’s favourites. Unfortunately just like his other favourite of Blu De Chanel Sport, neither of them are ever on offer. With the odd exception here and there to the odd 10% off which given the original price is worthless. Boys are expensive. My neice loves vouchers from Primark and H&M she can get several outfits for far less than one of my sons favourite aftershaves.
Old Spice
The mark of a man
Zits gone in 24 hours
Sends women wild
Reminds them of their Dad
'If your Grandfather hadn't worn it, you wouldn't exist' and 'It worked for your Grandad' were brilliant advertising tags from them. I liked Old Spice. Very classically manly spice and musk. It did smell like your Dad or Grandad but there is nothing wrong with that. It's similar to Aramis (albeit at a totally different price point) in that it's unashamedly masculine, something that really went out of fashion with aftershaves in the mid 90s with unisex scents like CK One or what would have been more traditionally feminine notes dominating in aftershaves like Le Male by JPG or Joop.
There does seem a bit of a renaissance for the masculine fragrance though with things like Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford, Bvlgari Man and Dark Rebel Rider all being huge sellers.
I'm using Sartorial by Penhaligons at the moment, not cheap but lasts forever and absolutely screams masculine totally unashamedly. No one is mistaking that for a unisex. At a much, much cheaper price point I like the M&S fragrances. £6 for 30ml and the Cool Vetiver, Ocean Musk and Moss & Citrus are all excellent. They don't last long which is to be expected at the price point but equally because of said price you can reapply pretty liberally.
Really enjoying Barts Balm after shaves, Eau de Parfume and shaving oils made here in Edinburgh . 24.99 for 100ml. Scent last for ages . Give it a try

Wow! First time I have seen that but sums it up
Been wearing it now for 50 years interspersed with Brut and Hi Karate but always a dependable stocking filler at Christmas and sits proudly beside Calvin Klein and Aramis in our bog
The Mrs swears by it as an astringent to get rid of her stress spots and plooks
Craig Gordon should try it :greengrin
I mentioned the M&S range above.
They really are good in terms of fragrance, as I said the issue is they just don't last very long. Whilst there is nothing worse than these guys who walk into a room absolutely reeking of aftershave, you do want it to be a bit noticeable and these do fade pretty quickly.
I find aftershave dries my skin too much. I’m an old buffer so that’s a problem. I’ll end up like a prune!
Fragrance though, I have a few by Floris. Not too well known so less chance of someone else having the same.
Used to have Penhaligons but their stores are staffed by total ******s so I gave up on them.
Escentric Molecules is interesting. You don’t smell it much on yourself but other people notice it. Mix it with another frangrance. That said they put the price up recently so I’ll wait until I find some knock off stuff on Ebay.
