Historically I absolutely love the USA. I’ve always enjoyed visiting and have had family in various parts of the country all my life.
The idea of passing up a chance to visit is pretty much anathema but I don’t think I can go back until it changes.
Apart from anything else - I’ve had some robust conversations re Trump on WhatsApp. A random check including confiscation of phone could probably land me in hot water. Not a risk worth taking in the current climate, and that’s a white man saying that.
I wonder how many of their industries are currently being savaged by the actions of this regime? Tourism? Defence? Motor manufacture?
I have never felt the desire to go to the USA, I now feel I’m missing out on letting The Tangoed One know how I feel. I’m just not going to go even more than I did before. That will teach himQuote:

Reciprocate treatment of innocent US citizens would make us as bad as them and only give credibility to Trump's claims that everyone is against them.
