Where’s Thatdayinmay16 guy who was going to spill the beans on Trump?
Seems relevant to discussion about World Cup ...

French researcher, going to a conference in Houston, was forbidden entry to US; his work and personal electronics were both confiscated.
Why? Because a “random search” of his cell phone revealed a negative personal opinion on Trump and the Trump administration.

Tesla board members, executive sell off over $100 million of stock in recent weeks - ABC News
As Tesla stock has fallen in recent weeks, members of the board and an executive at Elon Musk's company have been selling off millions of dollars in stock, according to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Together, four top officers at the company have offloaded over $100 million in shares since early February.
Last week, longtime Musk ally James Murdoch -- the estranged son of Fox boss Rupert Murdoch and a board member since 2017 -- became the latest to do so, exercising a stock option and selling shares worth approximately $13 million, according to an SEC filing. The sale took place on March 10, coinciding with the stock's largest single-day decline in five years.
Elon Musk's brother, Kimbal Musk, who also sits on the board, unloaded 75,000 shares worth approximately $27 million last month, according to a filing.
I've seen a few people suggesting that if you're travelling to the US, you're probably best doing it through a pre-clearance centre like Dublin. If you do get refused, ICE won't be able to lift you and transport you to a detainment centre. Probably a reasonable bit of advice - they're less hostile there too.
That's how I generally do it, but I was nearly tempted by a United direct flight for my next home trip. Glad I didn't.
What is it with this nutter? He's got planes falling out the sky, protests about DOGE on the streets and the boiled egg crisis but instead of fixing the f up at home he now thinks he should be running Ukraine's energy systems.
Obsessed with sticking his big coupon in all over the world despite his initial pledge to be less involved abroad.

World Class Idiot Russell Brand is the first to break the news on the real identity of the person who shot JFK. Huge if true.

He's also decided to take a close interest in an apparently necessary refurbishment of the Kennedy Centre. Needs marble and or granite he says, plus a big reworking of a part of it he doesn't like. He expects it to be really expensive, but hey, must be done. Talented multi-tasker, this lad
wee reminder what Kamala Harris said of Trump
(6) CALL TO ACTIVISM on X: "Kamala was RIGHT about Trump and Putin: “These dictators and autocrats are rooting for you to be president again because they're so clear they can manipulate you with flattery and favors. And that is why so many military leaders…have told me you are a disgrace.” https://t.co/TsSE4tE3kx" / X
This is a long and absolutely terrifying read:

EDIT: apologies, already posted
There are some fairly terrifying stories going about regarding the US ICE.
A gay German man has been tortured nearly to death and there are rumours that a woman is missing completely.
The Germans have publicly advised regarding the safety of travel for certain groups and we're apparently not far from doing similar.
It's bloody awful.
- Donald Trump has signed an executive order that will "begin eliminating" the federal Department of Education (DoE)
- Trump says that "this is the right thing to do", adding that the DoE will be shut "as quickly as possible"
- Most experts say that entirely scrapping the department would require an act of Congress
