What's the latest on their funding gap?
Has Ashley's loan been used, or are the new Board they using their own money?
The last I heard was from Llambias as he was scuttling across Glasgow Airport last week. He was asked if the additional £5m had been drawn down, and his answer was "No."
Wages and HMRC are due in a couple of weeks, which will be concentrating minds. I think that teacakes will be the first expense to get stopped.
The bigot Chris Graham has resigned.
Ha ha. Wonder if he gets to keep Club blazer and tie.:greengrin
Not to worry there will be another fans rep along in a minute to take his place. Would be nice if it was a modern, progressive thinking, non sectarian libertarian but I won't hold my breath.:cb
A lesson for all of us that in these days of social media none of us can escape from the consequences of what we post online.
Like this guy who is organising the fix Ibrox campaign?

Just exactly who is Rangers new boss Davina or Stuart. Something about million pound drops has me confused.:greengrin
They really are looking like a much better business than before - FFS a director is appointed arbitrarily / annointed without any real thought except he seems to be a the rangers man - and cops it a couple of days later for something that could have been spotted by even the most basic due diligence check.
I am looking forward to King being empowered to ride the clowns bicycle properly asap - they will hopefully be able to appoint a more discrete bigot who remains hidden for a bit longer thereby making an even bigger splash when they are eventually outed.
There really is a world outside inbred corners of Govan looking on in amazement. Maybe Ashley will have to do nothing but pick up the corpse after the new new rangers directors are finished dragging them down to a new low.
McCall saying how little the Toon five can offer him - "Remie Streete is out with illness and injury, Kevin Mbabu is lacking match football, Shane Ferguson I don't think has even been across the border and has a long-term knee injury. Bigirimama has a medical condition and is seeing a consultant up here but I doubt he will be available in the near future." Good old Ashley.
Was told it was Rangers paying all their wages out of Ashley's loan.
This was to use the loan up ASAP so they would need the next 5mil
The source was from Newcastle but I'm not sure even Rangers would be that stupid so a bit sceptical as to the accuracy
Would be hilarious if true however
Sooooo, where's this nomad King had lined up and was going to appoint last week??:cb
Instead of condemning behaviour or racist or bigoted views Rangers fan advise "think before you type anything on social media, it will back and bite you".
Yes be careful with how you present the bile folks!

So Ashley loans The Rangers money, then loans them some players which are then paid for by the loan he has already provided The Rangers which means he gets double benefit of said money and Rangers will actually be paying him twice with it, once on salaries for his own players and twice when they pay the loan back? Talk about finding ways to make your money go further ;-)
Actually three ways! When a The Rangers fan goes out and buys a The Rangers top and gets the name Vuckic on the back he gets a huge lump of the profit through sports direct and owning the club logos etc! Man has run rings around them, probably just for a bit of fun in his spare time ;-)
Dave King has lifted the beleaguered Bears
That's 3 good solid draws since he came in vs Cowdenbeath Livi & QoTS
:agree: Was just thinking that, they are on some run since King (nearly) got on the board. One director appointed then departing for getting caught out making hun like comments and coming out undefeated since the King show began. I wondered if Johnny hun has worked out that the Newcastle guy they didn't want won them some of those points?
I suppose its like taking and spending Ashleys money whilst simultaneously not wanting to be involved with Ashley. New
name, new club, same bad habits.
McCall indicating on TV tonight he will be speaking to King tonight about what Funds he has available to him to go into Transfer Market for Free Agents Anyone any idea who is still out there that could maybe come in and do a job for them
I would imagine that, on paper, there will be several decent players who are free agents but you've got to guess at the reason why they are available. They could be injured ; taking a sabbatical for the sake of it and because they don't need the cash ; too greedy and won't play for anything less than they're accustomed to ; they've lost their hunger and passion for the game. Add any other reasons to that list but, bottom line, I don't think there will be a long queue of candidates waiting to join that rancid club.
What chance any Rangers benefits in the chancellor's giveaway budget!
- tax relief for all newly formed football boards
- 30 day amnesty to remove unwanted onerous contracts
- wages benefit for all new out of contract signings
- all sports direct profits subject to a Rangers tax
- free nomad for all new companies with 150 year history
:cb
Few of these players have since found clubs but gives you a idea -

They could get Chris Killen & Rudi Skacel
The natives are getting restless.......

Did Dave King take trusted journos out for a lamb dinner before returning home? Is there a limit to how many days he can spend in Scotland for tax reasons?
It does seem bizarre that his coup has resulted in so much noise and so little action. Oh and rumours of falling behind with HMRC too. It's like Craig Whyte all over again.
I got a pile of abuse on a Zombie facebook post for suggesting that in their desperation to get rid of the last lot they were not giving due diligence to what they were putting in their place. Two games into the new regime and already its looking like another meltdown.
NOTE: .... I was going to use the Jobby hitting the fan smilie from the H.Net smilies list, but its blocked by the swear filter .... ?
I hope we make them pay for Sunday's tickets upfront.
I hope they've paid up front for Sunday's tickets, 3500 at an average of say £20 = £70k, nice little earner for the club!:)
What's happened to the NOMAD he had lined up-caught out in a lie already.
Yeah it has been:)
One might have thought that King, with all his credibility and impeccable record, would have been better placed to persuade the City to invest.
Has he actually said where the money is coming from? Or, as is suggested, has he left Douglas Park to sort out that sort of trivial detail?
McMurdo states HMRC have not been paid for last month. Hopefully CWG or others can clarify as I thought NI & VAT were both paid quarterly. However if he means that a quarterly payment was missed last month then they're in real trouble, I believe Sevco have to automatically advise SPFL/SFA within 2 days of receiving a statement from HMRC. ( that would give them about 30 days grace ). IIRC if they then don't have an agreed payment schedule with HMRC they will be in default which effectively means they can't register players & so they're bollo -ed! That would be really sad though I don't really have too much faith in McMurdo's credibility!
NIC is payable monthly with PAYE. VAT is normally quarterly, although it can be monthly.
I've assumed that this alleged bill (which I had read was due at the end of March) is VAT. For me, the problem is less about the SFA or SPFL rules, and more about simple cash flow.
That all said, there are a lot of holes in McMurdo's story, so I share your scepticism.
Ashley loan tough conditions?
http://www.philmacgiollabhain.ie/mik...-for-new-loan/
His record is unpeckable, I am sure I read it somewhere in the Scottish media - the one thing he ain't going to do is put up any cash any time soon - someone else will have to do it whilst he and his acolytes wear the badges of ownership. Dodgy dave will be actively raising investment cash from anyone who will listen to him in the gap whilst simultaneously trying to find a nomad who are prepared to run the risk- meantime the clock is ticking.
Delighted the huns went for this option as even now the only one who has put actual money in remains Ashley.
The last 'Warning' from their so-called 'Admins' was over a year ago -
Ok, so once again we find ourselves bogged down in petty insults and personal abuse. We try to give leeway and not be too heavy-handed, but sadly it seems you can't behave yourselves without someone breathing down your necks, so here we are.
We are now going to adopt a zero tolerance approach to personal abuse and the terms that go with it. This will include, but not be limited to, terms like ****, taig, taig-like, ******, rhebel (or any other word with an 'h' added in for effect), ********, ****er, moron,...
For clarity, this will apply to all personal abuse between posters, and also extend to all current and potential board members and staff. We can all discuss their shortcomings without resorting to these insults.
Anyone dishing out abuse will have their post removed and be issued a warning. Posters who cannot heed warnings will be issued with temporary posting suspensions, anyone who still can't accept this and wants to make themselves a martyr to the cause will have their wish granted.
It's ridiculous that it has come to this, but we will be enforcing this rule and we need your help to do it. If you see any abuse, each post has a 'Report' button on it. Please use this to keep us informed, and we will deal with the abuse appropriately.
A quick click on the link and go on to ANY of the threads is enough to show this 'Warning' is nothing more than lip-service as all these banned terms/words/phrases feature in every single thread !. Nothing but a hate-filled meeting-place for all the dregs of their support !! Open site but the Police don't seem to know it exists !!
It beggars belief that Dave King can organise an EGM one week to force Mike Ashley's guys off the board, and then go asking for the further £5m loan the next.
What's that Mike? You want to put a few more conditions against the loan? What a surprise!
Can you see them 'doing a Hearts', and going into admin about a week after the season ends?
It wouldn't make a difference to the play-offs. QOS, Falkirk and us would just get on with it. :greengrin
Edit.... oh, you mean if Rangers were in them?
Good question, and one that there's probably no consideration for in the rule books. I suspect that whatever club had missed out would be raging at the SPFL, but ultimately left on the sidelines.
In reality, RFC would start next season minus 25 points, wherever they ended up.
Admin is really the only way for them to escape from all those contracts. The problem is that they need to buy him out first as MA has security over all the assets.
I don't understand why they would even need MA and his 5m loan. Surely the new directors have money to invest into the club?
