Third a few seasons back but had to jump through hoops to get to group stage football. Then Ian Gordon goes on his fantasy pet projects and here we are again on the outside looking in.

It's all about timing and taking opportunities.

Yup and our two closest rivals have reaped the rewards twice each if Aberdeen finish third this season.

Yes winning the cup gets you ahead of the team that finishes 3rd. Wrong and cost us when we finished 3rd but got beat by St Johnstone in the cup final.
