Ukraine is holding off Russia with an economy hundreds of times smaller than Europe's and using 1970s surplus equipment mostly. Europe could end it tomorrow with its 300 f35s and 500 Eurofighters. You are right. The deal was never a serious deal. Ukraine were signing a deal in hope rather than certainty. Sign it first and then we will see..
