Maybe bring them back to Earth a little bit. A lot of Celtc fans already have the ribbons on all 3 domestic trophies and a CL knockout place in the bag.
Shown how absolutely bang average they are in the grand scheme of things tonight, and it was fantastic to behold.

Celtc are the first British team to concede 5 goals in the first half of a game in a major European competition since Cwmbran Town in the 1997-98 Cup Winners' Cup.
Rodgers said a few years ago after a heavy defeat in Europe with Celtic he would not compromise on his principles. Against the European big boys you have to set up to nullify their strengths. Hate to say it The Rangers have been better at doing that in Europe.

If Scottish teams went into into UK league then most of our SPL teams would be in league 1/2...there's no appetite for that and would mean no European games. Teams from championship down would be playing at like national league level. An official UK league would/should never happen. It would mean the end of the 4 national teams that we are fortunate to have in the British isles. I would not be interested in watching Hibs play in League 1 against teams such as Rotherham, Mansfield etc and away trip to Exeter would hardly set the pulse racing. Our league has a lot of faults but it is OUR league.
