I don't see what all the fuss is about. As far as I understand, King in theory has the majority of the shareholders' votes and will win the ballot if all eligible votes are included. The present board think that holding the meeting in London will somehow, weaken King's chances and that there is a chance that the meeting will be further postponed because of the disruption caused by a lynch mob mentality. If there is a danger of this, why don't they simply give their proxy votes to the relevant groups and go through the formality of the ballot, which they will apparently win. What is the point of the lynch mob descending on London for a ten minute meeting? Unless Ashley has a trump card up his sleeve.Quote:
