Is there a counter initiative school of thought that the better an under 18 team is doing the less likely it is that players will actually make it into the first team? With the logic being the better players at teams have already moved up to the first team squad. I’m sure our 18s were bottom of the league during the golden generation, yet we had the best youth team in the country as they were all in the first team.Quote:
