The SPL are simply waiting for UEAFA too come to their senses and accept the season is over . Probably still have two weeks 1st of May before player contracts cause major problems so SPL can wait.
Accept what Championship League 1/2 have asked for and pay out now prize money too keep them going
All SPL have to do in two weeks is say Hearts down ........Four points adrift . Partick and play off teams are unfortunate .
Oh happy days 👍
The net is closing on Hearts. What the SPFL have cleverly in my opinion done is said, ok all clubs you have two choices: 1. Void season or 2. call it as it is. And while the premier league clubs also vote, the outcome of this cannot be confirmed until SPFL have spoken and advised UEFA (remember the point made by president that he didn’t want to hear about it in the press).
All 42 clubs getting a vote. Only teams impacted significantly will vote to void it - Rangers (bitterness), Hearts and Patrick. Maybe one or two more. 90%+ will vote to call it given other option commercial suicide.
Then we will see Dundee United promoted, no play off and Patrick down and same approach for league 1 and 2. For Premier League - Celtic champions, Hearts relegated and confirmed ONLY ONCE discussed with UEFA - so might be a couple of weeks.
Hearts are 99% down.
Do Brechin stay up? That’s what I heard recently.
Looking at that CWG it states "A furloughed employee can take part in volunteer work, if it does not provide services to or generate revenue for, or on behalf of your organisation"
I have a vested interest in this, as a voluntary treasurer of a charity that is planning to continue paying full salaries to our small number of staff and furloughing them to recoup 80% of our costs. There might be some small opportunities for some staff to volunteer, but my reading of what I saw previously on that page suggested they couldn't. What could they do that is not providing a "service" to the organisation?
The penny is even starting to drop over on kickback...
Don't t disagree with anything apart from in sure UEFA said what happens with individual countries leugues is their decision.
Yes the are fronting up about European cups but if as expected we finish the leuges as they are then I doubt it will be a problem.

So this is what’s happening with the Premiership..
“The resolution also recommends that matches in the Ladbrokes Premiership remain postponed for the time being, to give the best possible opportunity for the remaining 2019/20 fixtures to be played.
However, if the SPFL Board determines that the remaining Premiership matches cannot be played, the Ladbrokes Premiership would also be terminated, with final season placings determined on the same basis.”
Seriously? There is clearly no chance fixtures will be played. Placings being decided on a points per game basis in the lower leagues. They are apparently trying to figure out any possible way to complete the top league games before calling it.
To be fair I think they are covering all bases by doing that.
They can now go to uefa and say government have us in lock down. Can we finish the season with our teams qualifying for Europe?
Going to be really annoying when we win the cup again and don't get into Europe.
Looking at Scotland’s 4 leagues the picture is actually pretty clear cut.
Assuming average points as a basis to square off the mis-match in games played, no team in League winning or automatic relegation spots change position.
Sellick, Dundee Utd and Cove are miles ahead (even the most idiotic hun can’t really think sellick will lose at least 4, half of their remaining games, when they’ve lost just 2 all season so far).
Of the relegation spots, only herts and Partick could claim to be ‘in the mix’, but both have been bottom for ages so it’s hardly nip n’ tuck.
Those in the play-offs will be narked, but there’s no guarantee here and the set-up is weighted against them. Net/net, they’d be arguing for ifs, but’s and maybe’s.
In summary, herts are toast.
Good. 😊
If the resolution is approved, the SPFL has also committed to consulting with Clubs over the possibility of League restructuring ahead of Season 2020/21.
From the SPFL statement
It will be an extraordinarily vote where 2 against 10 won’t have a chance of winning. Hearts only chance of staying up is league reconstruction- why would clubs in the top league want less old firm cash and why would clubs in the championship vote to say cheerio to Dundee Utd and Inverness and be happy with no Hearts going down when they will be desperate for money?
So, that will be Hearts all but relegated :thumbsup::thumbsup:
Liking the empty offer of league reconstruction as well.
Jambos Kickback will be a hoot these next couple of days. :na na:
