Started Ludwig in iPlayer.
It's basically David Mitchell playing David Mitchell again but it's good nonetheless.
Watched the first 4 episodes of season 4 of Slow Horses, not been particularly impressed so far.
Got to admit this is a bit of a guilty pleasure. Wife was watching it and I'd glance up from my phone every now and again with a chuckle but no denying we're watching it together now. Very funny
Waiting for all episodes of Slow Horses before starting season 4. Thinking it'll be the penguin next
Just catching up with Sherwood as it was on while I was on holiday so had loads to catch up on. Didn’t realise Monica Dolan was in second series, she’s an amazing actress, she’s so versatile that I nearly always have to check IMDB because she looks and acts so differently in everything she does. Loved her in the Strike series and she was absolutely perfect as Rose West in appropriate adult.
Face off inside the nhl is a good watch if you're in anyway interested in ice hockey.
Catching up with Tulsa Kings, never been a Sly fan but Im fair enjoying it
Finished season 1 of Daryl Dixon, onto Dead City now, good to see Negan back on form so far.
Season 3 of Industry has been superb - I’m half way through.
Thought season 2 was a bit of a slog at times but these latest episodes are getting close to a Succession standard/vibe for me. The Rishi centric episode was incredible.
Just watched season 2 of Parole, these people have no chance in life from the start, drink, drugs and violence from an early age.
Halfway through the second series of Hightown, it's way over the top but, great entertainment.
The series ‘Monsters’ about Lyle and Eric Menendez and the documentary about them is a very interesting watch
Halfway through series 1 of One Night, there's an Australian female playing a Scottish character, worst accent in the history of all time. 🤬
My wife had never seen Game of Thrones before, so we started it last night.
I've seen it before but it took three or four attempts to get into it. I remember watching the first few episodes and thinking they were crap and giving up. Thought the same when I finally gave it a chance, forced my way through the first few episodes and thought it was great from mid season 1 onwards. The first two episodes we watched last night were a lot better than I remember.
The only annoying thing is my wife has obviously heard about all the incest in it, so whenever someone new appears on screen that seems they might be more than a backing character, she asks "do they do incest?":greengrin
Just got round to watching Series 2 of Gangs of London, loving it.
Strange. I thought season one was excellent but the whole run went downhill towards the end, probably not helped by them catching up with, and passing, the books.
I suppose it's all a bit silly though. I never bothered with the new one. Although I'd like to think there would be incest in that too!
Film on Netflix - Woman of the Hour, dramatised true story about a serial killer in the US. I really enjoyed that.
Sweet Bobby - also Netflix. A documentary about an idiot, who doesn’t seem to see that she’s an idiot. I don’t even know if I enjoyed it, but there are multiple bits where I was laughing my head off at how someone could still be falling for it.
