Top penalty.
I’d sign him on that penalty alone.
Something nasty said there? Martindale said sorry to Cowie.
*confirmed as being spat at.
Still think it’s 50/50 game - Livingston beat them away earlier in season did they not ??
Here’s hoping Livi stay down.
Beat us in the Cup with players from Celtc on loan and others bought in someone else’s dime and spent money they didn’t have. They were actually in administration at the time iirc. Ankers.
imagine having the misfortune to work with probably the only Livi fan in Edinburgh … arrogant twunt he was too. Good riddance.
Don Cowie in the Lee Wallace role.......
Nice few hundred RC supporters. Pleased for them in that horrible vacuum of a stadium.
Did that **** spit on the county coach?
I think it’s a penalty - he’s grabbing his shirt. Ok he chucks himself to the ground but it’s a really obvious shirt pull - pretty stupid really.
Thought Ross County were pretty awful - like the look of Hale - think he would be a decent squad player.
Cameras should have been on the other side also think Sky like to take the pee out the Scottish game. Two small supported teams plastic pitch etc. Schedule for games poor also especially given the distances Thursday and Monday night with away fans 3 and a half hour drive
I'm surprised Livingston still survive as a club with their support. It's Junior level.
Just seen the incident and looks like the guy responsible (pointed out anyway) was with his laddie?? What a role model!
Postecoglou will pick up a £2m bonus for winning the other night
It's mental that the club with the smallest support in the championship, never mind the premiership, has a stadium that half the clubs in Scotland would kill for ..... shame they couldn't dismantle it and send it to Dundee who need a new stadium and might have a chance of half filling it without a visit from the 5 biggest clubs to do it.
Leeds have some good friendlies lined up for the fans

that Forest owner is a pathetic tw@t
Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville has said Nottingham Forest have banned him from the City Ground for their final Premier League game of the season against Chelsea on Sunday.
The former Manchester United and England defender said he was informed by the broadcaster that Forest "would not give me an accreditation or access to the stadium as a co-commentator".
"I've had no choice but to withdraw from the coverage," the 50-year-old added on Instagram.
BBC Sport has contacted Nottingham Forest for comment.
Neville criticised Evangelos Marinakis on X after the Forest owner marched onto the pitch and spoke animatedly with manager Nuno Espirito Santo following the late goal by Leicester City in the 2-2 draw earlier this month.
"Scandalous from that Forest owner. Nuno should go and negotiate his exit tonight with him! The Forest fans, players and manager do not deserve that," Neville wrote on X the same day.
Last Scottish players to win Serie A I read were two players in Juve's title winning side of 1905!
Very much looking forward to playing Napoli in the 2027 Champions League final.
I'd love to ask conte where he got that hair transplant. Some job.
Christ. This is how you celebrate.
Following the footsteps of giovanni moscardini jonny who never won title but played for both scotland and italy courtesy of sir alex mckinven and kit and caboodle availlable on amazon a fantastic read. well done both scottish boys
Nottingham Forest have banned Gary Neville for being Co-commentator for tomorrows game v Chelsea
This unprecedented
Neville said, Forest would not give me an accreditation or access to the stadium as a co-commentator
Think he commented on the Forest owners charge onto the park at the recent home game v Leicester
Lmao the Forest owner is a big child
Read up a bit about him last night after Neville posted about him getting banned. Seems a bit of an unsavoury character. Investigated in relation to the murder of a policeman. A separate court case where he was the accused was scrapped when pretty much all the witnesses conveniently died.
Does England have a fit and proper test?
I don’t know anything about the Forrest owner but his charge onto the park in the recent home game v Leicester he was heavily criticised by the media which was said afterwards had nothing to do with the result , performance but more a player’s safety who ended up in a induced coma needing surgery .
Neville managed Valencia for 16 games in which he only won 3 and failed to keep a clean sheet in any of them but is quite happy to criticise other managers/ chairmen’s in what they are doing wrong . Personally always thought Neville was a D*** and fair dues to the Forrest owner on his stance .
Neville's been pretty open and honest that he failed ah Valencia, he doesn't claim to be a top manager. He atleast have it a go though unlike some pundits.
He seems pretty fair to me, his job is to give give analysis on games whether that be positive or negative.
He's got pretty much the top job in football punditry because he's the best IMO.
That Forest owner is a complete head case, Sky should just tell Forest to get stuffed and show a different game instead. Neville is an excellent commentator and his overlap show is the best football show there is.
No but he acts as a pundit in his criticism of other managers like he has been a top manager even though he was a failure.
As to the Forrest chairman i think he’s right in Neville called him out and said the manager should quit the football club even though he had a valid reason at the time for going onto the field ..
I thought the same as Neville in fairness at the time but I was wrong . I don’t remember Neville admitting he was wrong . Understand where the chairman is coming from regarding Neville on this occasion.
I'm not sure the fact he didn't do well at Valencia means he can't have an opinion on players and managers. As a player he he played at the very highest level for over a decade, he clearly knows the game.
Put it this way, he's about a million times more qualified than anyone on here, yet we've got plenty posters who've never played the game to any level let alone elite, telling us how managers and players are getting things wrong.
I agree he’s a million times more qualified than anyone on here but like us all he can still be wrong on occasions which he is sometimes and on this occasion I think he’s totally wrong in condemning the chairman and telling the manager to quit .
If he had came out afterwards and said he got it wrong , maybe apologised I’d like to think the chairman would have taken a different approach but I haven’t seen anywhere that Neville has admitted he was wrong or apologised so I think the Forrest chairman is justified in his actions regarding Neville’s comments.
Why should he admit he was wrong, if he doesn’t think he is? It’s absolutely pathetic behaviour from the Forest chairman.
I like Gary Neville, but I appreciate that he’s not everyone’s cup of tea. One thing he’s definitely proven over the years is his ability to take criticism, and the quite merciless piss-taking that he’s subjected to at times on the tv and his podcasts.
Neville’s entitled to his opinion on this, as Forest are entitled to ban him. I know which one I think is petty and vindictive.
The big money game also kicks off soon, for me i hope Sunderland can do it today.
Ok , that’s fair enough but in regards to some of Neville’s comments about the chairman in using words like
‘ scandalous’ and stating that the manager should resign over the chairman coming on the field and confronting him i think he’s wrong on .
It was suggested at the time it was due to the performance / result which triggered the chairman’s reactions but that NOW doesn’t appear to be the case in it was a players safety that was the issue. I think Neville jumped the gun on being overly critical when he didn’t know all the facts ! Totally in the Forrest Chairman’s camp on this .
The funniest thing about forest is their owner diluted his share in the club in preparation for champions league football (due to also owning Olympiakos who've qualified).
Since then they've completed **** the bed and sitting 7th
Nowt wrong in what Neville said imo. He seems a bit of a loose cannon and an all round dodgy character which i think Nev is starting to call out and that's what's causing the ban
Strangely feeling nervous about the cup final today. Everything says Celtic stroll this and we benefit. Then think complacency is their biggest enemy. Let’s hope they stay focused.
I like Gary Neville and am a bit of a Forest fan, on this one I think Neville took a fire, aim, ready approach and is now in the Mikey Stewart camp of not being able to be wrong.
On the Forest owner point, the fans don't know what he's going to do next, and I suspect he doesn't either some times. I think given his emotions at the time and his apparently genuine concern about the player his response was understandable if OTT.
I wouldn't have banned Neville but a wee bit of humility goes a long way sometimes.

He wouldn’t but it’s now being said that was the issue he had which I think is a valid one considering the events that followed regarding the player safety..
I was of the same opinion as Neville in I thought the chairman was overreacting about the performance and result. I was wrong as was Neville . Thankfully i didn’t publicly call the chairman out as ‘ scandalous or say the manager should quit though .
I watched the game at the time and thought that the player looked in pain and should have been taken off as they were basically like a man down anyway with him on .
I think i both have reacted badly to a degree though my opinion is it was Neville that lit the fire by jumping in without knowing all the facts .i did too in thinking it was purely on the performance and result which clearly wasn’t the case now . Anyhow .. Mon the celts😉
Aberdeen going to back 3 (or 5) for the first time this season.
Desperation or a masterstroke?
See if this goes to extra time or pens and we have £5m and Europe to Xmas riding on it 👀
Owner does not like what someone says about him, bans person. Thinnest skinned owner of all time, whats next thecamera man got his wrong side and made him look fat?
Pundits are employed to give their opinion, right or wrong but you cant go banning them because you dont like it, especially someone as fair as Neville is.
Going for a 5-0 Celtic win . 🤞
What did nuno say after the game about the "confrontation"
Surely he would have just said there wasn't any and he was just worried about our striker?
Seems odd to me

1-0 Sheff United
Sunderland trying to be too clever at a corner, sold a goal.
Aberdeen with a good shape and keeping it tight so far, not offering much going forward.
2-0 Sheffield United
VAR
1-0
Some finish for 2nd Sheffield goal, game over me thinks.
