I wouldn't be so sure on this.
Postecocglu was very unlucky with injuries to his side, particularly central defenders, but most Spurs supporters want him gone. This is mainly due to his persona with the media and kamikaze tactics in some games.
Spurs have always been my English side. It's been dreadful watching them this year but chuffed they won tonight. They have played some damn average sides to win the Europa League. Guess Ange was due a bit of luck. I mean Bodo/Glimt in the semis and a dire Man U in the final.
My gut feeling is he will be sacked. Would like to see Thomas Frank manager of Spurs, but just my opinion.
Ange could also easily walk away and say I told you so and come out it looking very good.
Think they will keep him and he will probably stay - 50/50 I would say.
If I was Amorim I would be worried - project or not he’s lost to an average spurs team and had a shocker in the league.
I know what you mean and understand your views.
Ange could say this. But coming out looking very good, I'm not so sure. I know a few Spurs supporters who attend home games and they have said it's been toxic for a while. The last few home games there have been empty seats, which is unheard of for years.
Tottenham's problems go deeper that Ange.....Levy. But Levy it's not shifting. There have been rumours of an American takeover, but seems this could still be years away.
Fine Ange won his trophy, but it doesn't gloss over a league position one place above relegation, albeit a good few points ahead. It bad enough not being in the top 6, even worse not the top half. But seventeenth. That's a massive underachievement for Spurs.
They could stick with Ange for next season, but if he gets off to a poor start they will be back at square one. It's a huge call.
Rumours are that Ange is distant and isolates himself at times. It's just his style.
More bad results than good over his 2 years in charge. Needs to go.
21st of May comes good again. #COYS
Watched it in a boozer im Brighton. Brutal game with mostly "Spurs" fans in pub. They were gone before the interviews started. English football at that level is like a facsimile of what football should be
The man has won a trophy for a club that has been ridiculed for lack of bottle and not winning one in years. And qualified for the champions league.
Honestly when it comes to him vs the media I'm absolutely with him. They can't wait to bring him down it's an embarrassment. I hope he does say **** this and walk away from it all.
That was a dreadful final between two poor teams. Scrappy winner summed up the game. But Spurs got the job done so well done to them, must be such a relief getting that monkey off the back.
And delighted to see Ange win to GIRFUY the snooty English journalists who couldn't wait to mock him because he managed in Scotland. Did what the likes of Conte & Mourinho couldn't!
:agree:
He has a system that obviously does not work and he stubbornly sticks to it no matter what do not think having all his players available would have changed his mindset or system Montyball
Saying that his strength last night was his back four awesome
Amorim should be removed for his failure to make changes asap despite having an embarrassment of riches on the bench and showing loyalty to certain players
Mount before Garnacho are you serious?
Casemiro was dead on his feet and lasted the full 90
Even Super Ally said he was struggling to keep up just after halftime
Fernandes was rightly raging at the end has his critics but the boy is a winner and a very good player
Will Ange survive ?
Said it himself’ Que sera sera’
Honest assessment of a terrible game

Surely Ange won't get sacked now. He said he always wins things in his second season and he did. Champions League football now.
Delighted for Spurs.
Not a massive fan of Ange but think he’s had a tough time with it from the press the past few months. Saying that, probably cause Spurs are 17th in the league.
Massive win for them though! Champions League football next season as well.
That team selection and waiting till late on before putting on Gaurancho (sp) should be enough on its own.
Spurs won the trophy by changing the way they like to play, the manager knew they couldnt win playing that way with the players he had available, Amorim is just stubborn beyond belief.
On another note, is there any other player in the world that looks to get in the face of a ref more than Bruno Fernandes, i'd never tire of hitting him in the face with a large frying pan?:grr:
Ange should have had a red nose and clowns feet ready for his first interview last night after the game, in fact i'm surprised he didnt. :greengrin
Things really this bad at Utd ?…
https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...every-35271214
Yup.
Billion pound in debt, no Champions league or European football, players past their best on massive wages, crap players signed for 3 or 4 times more than they should have.
Players being sold to manage FFP.
Years of the glazers mismanagement has finally caught up, was manageable when SAF was winning everything, but with that now not happening its taken its toll.
Fire sale of the playing staff, won't get much but clear the decks, bring in youngsters! Too many overpaid bang average players with bad attitudes and a succession of progressively bad decisions on managers and signings. There is no easy fix.
Oh and add in the arrogant arse Radcliffe and his diminishing fortune...and hope for a 5 year extension for Harry Maguire 🤣
Apparently Man Utd have to pay Chelsea £3.5m because they played Mount last night. £3.5m clause for an appearance in a European final.
Livy v Ross co. tonight @ 8pm on sky sports.
First leg at the toni macaroni plastic enormodome.
Ross county are 3/1 outsiders, and you can see why with 7 losses and 2 draws in their last nine games.
Return leg in Dingwall on Monday.
The sun's out ,My eldest brother who has shown no interest in football, suddenly wants to go down and support the local team!
He got told where to go! :tee hee:
Lol. Just flicked onto sportsound ahead of livi ross county and who am I listening to 5mins before kick off? Brendan Rodgers. And Richard Gordon talking about Aberdeen.
That Livi pitch, man. Pls don’t let them come back up.
mon the Livingstonians
12 mins in and it's already a better game than last night :greengrin
Imagine if that had been given a goal by VAR
What a pathetic crowd.
Livi desperately need promotion or they are in real financial trouble. From a source inside the club. C’mon the Staggies 🦌
What an advert this is for scottish football, yikes.
Empty stadium, plastic pitch and terror football. Dire.
Goal from a stramash
Please Ross County, don’t let them come back up.
Baws. What a woeful goal to concede
gawn Livi
love a stramash in the box
Oh dear
Classic Livi goal. What an awful advert for Scottish football.
Kenneh looking horrendous. He was a truly dreadful signing for us.
Kenneh again looking like he won a prize to play tonight, technically a poor player.
Hopefully Ross County find a equaliser in the 2nd half 🤞
How many Livingston fans will be up at Dingwall on Monday night?
Don't know why people are commenting on the crowd as it's hardly a secret that Livi just don't have the fan base out here.
Far too many Hibs, Hearts and Rantic fans out here for them to grow it.
They left Meadowbank citing they were fighting Hibs and Hearts for fans, Livingston is full of OF fans with a good few Hibs and Hearts ones, they were never going to get a fan base. They were just a pumped up works team from Ferranti, don't know how they ever managed to stay afloat.
Could Nohan Kenneh be, pound for pound, our worst ever signing?
We'll have paid a decent amount in wages to tempt him from Leeds and for what sort of end product?
He looks absolutely dreadful here, I can't say I've seen much of him since his early Hibs performances.
Whilst the attendance is embarrassing, I think the camera position makes it look worse than it is (still terrible). From the angle given at a few corners / throws, it looks like one stand is mostly full. Unfortunately it’s the same side as the cameras are on.
Brace yourselves; cringe is coming back to the Scottish Premiership.
The way the ball sticks when players are trying to dribble is absolutely horrendous. They shouldn’t be allowed back up, it’s a complete joke.
Hate the pitch, hate their lack of fans, hate their style of play, and don’t like Martindale. Great 😒
Whilst 1-0 isn’t a great result for County, it’s not terrible. A draw would be very good for them as things stand as they are more than capable of winning at home.
We don't want 3 plastic pitches in the Prem.
nice seeing chipper in the dugout
Livi - close them down or relegate them - going to offer nothing to the Premier League
Not sure Henry Ford’s grandson did very good research

That Campbell for County is absolutely honking.
The thing is it’s not officially been confirmed - put back but when I read the Raith Rovers club update recently it sounded like they still haven’t decided.
3 out of 12 pitches in the top flight artificial is not good especially crap ones like Livingston.
Said it before it’s an unfair advantage having poor pitch maintenance - top level clubs should have set standards of pitch.
Penalty for Ross County in the post..
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Penalty I hope.
C’mon Ross County… big chance.
Cracking penalty
Get in!! That’s some penalty as well under pressure.
1-1
I can’t see anything other than a Ross County win in the next leg. Hopefully , I like the Mallard. :greengrin
