I can see Tesla getting hit hard in any retaliations. I wouldn’t be holding Tesla stock now just in case.

This is true, and hopefully it will slow down Trump's worst impulses. He's said that he's got a big list of Executive Orders to implement on day one which may get him over that obstacle, though, unless they're subsequently found to be unconstitutional / illegal. Keeping my fingers crossed, but not overly hopeful.
The other big issue for Trump is that he’s only got one term. Once the conversation turns to who will replace him (and it will fairly quickly) that will start to hamstring him.
I also think he’ll fall out with Musk sooner rather than later and the divorce there will be messier than any similar parting Trump has dealt with before.
I expect so too.
And if for any reason he doesn't manage that then he'll manipulate the situation so some sort of patsy is in charge and he can pull the strings from the background.
I'm not actually all that convinced he'll live that long. Terrible diet by all accounts and a bit of weight on him for a man of his age.
Scary few years ahead though.
Trump’s New York civil fraud judgment reaches new eye-popping milestone: report
New York fraud case now stands at $502m
$114k interest per day
and he still owes E Jean Carroll $88m
hope he's been saving up from all that pathetic junk he's been flogging
he can still ask his hard of thinking half-wits to stump up for him, all he needs to do is wear his made in China MAGA baseball cap and donations will flood in
I see his pal, Musk’s latest SpaceX Starship venture has failed. Destroyed in mid air. That’s the good news……… the not so good news is the chaos caused to civil air flights.

German central bank makes move away from X. Hopefully other govt agencies across Europe start to do the same.

I tend to agree on the Mars thing, I don't think we'll see people living on Mars in my lifetime but the Starship is also going to be used as a moon lander by NASA when they return to the moon and these tests are part of the development for that, with Mars being Musk's ultimate dream.
The space race that the USA and Russia engaged in led to massive leaps forward in technology many of which we use today. The current space race has been taken up by private industry and one extremely rich mans dream/vanity project, but the advances in space technology that have happened with Space X have been pretty incredible and you only have to look at where things sat before SpaceX got involved and the state of and cost of NASA's Artemis program to see how far behind national space agencies are.

The US Federal Reserve has withdrawn from the group of central banks founded to navigate climate risks to the financial system.
I think you need a 2/3 majority in the senate for constitutional change which neither party can get for sensible things like gun control, so there is zero chance they get it to give Trump another term.
You hear people on the far right suggest it every now and then but it’s impossible so they quickly drop it.

He is in his smiling importantly whilst doing those big fancy signatures then smiling whilst he holds his drawing up.
Hopefully they'll find a way to put him in a corner with an Etch a Sketch whilst the grown ups chat amongst themselves

I’ve moved to Bluesky and there loads less guff on that. I’d close my x down but there are some clips on the school account of my son and I can’t work out how to save them off line so I’d lose access.
I saw one too many post with Tommy Robinson dressed as a crusader and Trump as jesus on tiktok, so that’s been deleted.
