Del Toro was very good but agree that it wasn't brilliant. The plot is all a bit obvious and been done a hundred times before. Think it was the directors first film. It's worth a watch for a TV movie but I'd say a 6 or 7 out of 10 for some decent acting.Quote:

I have just noticed there is another 8 part series on Netflix called Ferry which according to the date of November 2023, is this another new run or is it the previous ones from 2019 ? I watched the start of it earlier but to be honest I cant remember how the first series started 🤭

Just caught up with the Alienist on netflix and really enjoyed it, love how it has caught the detail of the late 1800s New York, pretty brutal in parts too and cast are great
