Watching Gone Girls, The Long Island Serial Killer. The American police’s attitude towards sex workers is disgraceful. Not an easy watch but very powerful.

A tough emotional watch at times
1hr 34 m with subtitles family speak English and French
The Tattooist's Son: Journey to Auschwitz on Sky History, a very moving watch.
The Final: Attack on Wembley on Netflix. It is about ticketless England fans forcing their way into Wembley at the Euro 2020 final. Absolute thugs. I remember one tiny bit of the incident being reported at the time but it didn't look like anything on the scale shown in the documentary. Did I just miss it at the time or was it not fully reported?
Think it is an old one on Prime so it’s probably been mentioned before but just enjoyed The Other Side of Edinburgh about Tony Hand who comes across as a thoroughly decent, modest and humble bloke.
Kinahan: The True Story of Ireland's Mafia
Four episodes. First three on the iplayer which I binged last week but the final episode not available until next week. Fascinating insight from the birth of the clan in the 80s right up to the present day. Much carnage along the way. I won’t give any spoilers but enjoyed it.
The Basement :A Vanishing in Apple Valley , on channel 5
a shocking and pretty disturbing story of the dissapearence of four people . Not for the faint hearted
I’ve finished Netflix-Turning Point-the Bomb and the cold war. Really impressed.
Watched this last week. Crazy how bad the policing was throughout. Mad how many serial killers there have been in that one area. The fact they said this one was "the worst for a generation" rather than the only/worst ever says it all. Found it wild just how apparently normal the killer can seem but has the darkest of secrets.
Barristers on All4, 3 part documentary about defence lawyers in London, interesting stuff.
Jack the Ripper: Written in Blood, part drama, part documentary, decent viewing on Sky.
Struggling to sleep with an injury just now so about to stick on the sky documentary "Schmeichel "
Big Peter was an idol of mine growing up. I generally played outfield at youth football but was always first to go in goals if our keeper got injured or suspended
Spent a bit of time between the sticks playing Sunday amateur when I got a bit older
Just finished the final episode of Ozark Law, quite an emotional watch for about the last 30 minutes.
The Rory Gallagher Story on BBC i-player.
Shy and shunned the limelight and commercialisation of his music, never releasing a single. At his peak he was rated No.1 guitarist by Melody Maker (above Clapton, Page, Beck etc.), but he is still under-rated and also under the radar to many, esp the younger generations. I was lucky to see him live a couple of times late 70s. Awesome.
Groomed: A National Scandal on All4, not an easy or pleasant watch
