Where I'm at with this as well. He would be expecting at least 10K a week and IMO Hibs would be off their heads to ante up that kind of wage for a player who at 29 years of age looks overweight and slow, with an allegedly stinking attitude to go with it. As for Simon Murray. The exact opposite of Shankland, a guy who simply never stops running and has a brilliant attitude, but at 33 years old it's open to question if he could keep that up for 90 plus minutes week in week out. Whether he would be willing to leave Dundee at all, never mind to possibly be a back up striker, or a guy Hibs bring on for 60 minutes per game, is open to question .... but as a guy to bring on when we need to switch things up in a game I would have him in a heartbeat.
