Post update
Leicester 0-2 Liverpool
Seven years ago to this day Chelsea gave Leicester a guard of honour as Premier League champions.
Leicester just strolling around like this is a friendly. No wonder they’re in such a mess.
0-3
Lucky strike.............
I still think getting rid of Brendan Rodgers and taking in Dean Smith wasn't really a improvement on the manager front tbh 🤔
From what I've seen, Everton look miles better than Leicester. Think they'll be safe.
Everton will stay up, Leeds and Leicester to join Southampton
A good part of me wants Everton to go down. I genuinely can't think of anything about them that makes me feel they are worth watching.
West Ham still have both Leeds and Leicester to play, could see them making a few changes (as they did on Sunday) if they qualify for their European final.
Manure United playing Lyon at Murrayfield on 19 July.
Will it be a big seller? Lyon not the club they were, Man United also. A lot of Man U glory hunters in Scotland I suppose, I'll give it a miss
Edit
Just saw there was 65k for Napoli pumping Liverpool 3 nil there. Both they teams were better than the two coming up in July, but shows it might get an audience
£50+ per adult ticket for United vs Lyon. Won’t be paying that. Hopefully we can organise a good friendly or get a good tie in Europe
Two games tonight .
Inter milan v AC Milan BT sport's 1 .
Luton v Sunderland skysports main event.
Probably watch the Luton game . Cmon the hatter's :clapper:
Will be watching the Milan derby. I’ve no horse in that race but hopefully AC Milan score earlyish and make it interesting
I remember stopping in at Annan for a game on the way up to us v the rangers at Hampden the other year.
Nice tidy ground and there was a fans group from Lincoln being filmed by a TV station on the day. I spoke to the camera man and he said it was a documentary about why they supported Annan.
Over all a great weekend.
tonights big game
Annan 1 Clyde 1
Luton 1 Sunderland 0 (2-2)
Lively start in Milan, end to end stuff.
Inter/AC Milan vs The Referee. Think I'm going to switch over to the Luton/Sunderland game where hopefully the two teams are playing each other.
Proper cup tie feel to the Luton game, plenty challenges flying in.
2-0 Luton
2-1 Annan
Refs definitely under instructions to try to avoid cards in Champions League.
Should be 4 or 5 here by now.
Luton absolutely battering Sunderland. Reminds me a bit of 1 or 2 of the games at tynie when Mogga was manager. Luton very physical, all long balls and set pieces. Sunderland have the footballers but are just getting brushed aside so far. Hope they can find a way back into it.
1-0 Inter, Martinez.
Good. Always preferred Inter to Milan.
Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani has made an improved offer to buy Manchester United.
The Qatari banker and Sir Jim Ratcliffe's Ineos Group are the two main parties looking to buy the Old Trafford club.
Both groups submitted third bids at the end of April.
Sheikh Jassim submitted a fresh bid on Tuesday morning amid further talks involving the Raine Group, who are handling the process.
The bid is for 100% of the club, will clear United's debt and includes a separate fund directed solely at the club and local community.
Figures in March showed United owed £969.6m through a combination of gross debt, bank borrowings and
outstanding transfer fees with associated payments.
The Glazer family announced in November they were considering selling Manchester United as they "explore strategic alternatives".
yikes
Milan losing the plot.
Sunderland haven't really done enough in a attacking sense , only one shot on target . Probably score now 😆
that was absolutely dreadful from the luton player, no real missing that
Sunderland keeper still up the park
Sunderland making a statement as we speak.
Sunderland :faf:
notts forest got a £50k fine today for the fans on the pitch v sheff united in the cup last season so i imagine Luton will get the same
As a long time Hatter I’m delighted, we can go all the way now.
We so deserved that
Inter’s home kit is a thing of beauty
Used to follow Inter up until they went with the Super League stitch-up. Still, good to see them in another final.
Hard to call tonight's game with City and Madrid, would give City the little edge due to the home advantage but never count out Madrid.
Ivan Toney banned from all football related activity for 8 months.
Come on Real.
If City don't win this by 2 or 3 then I will be surprised.
That's some save
Utterly insane goalkeeping there.
What a ****ing goal
That's a well deserved goal as you will ever see in a game
Been coming for 23 minutes. Madrid not even in the game yet.
1 nil city . It was coming, they have been far the better team
City are battering them just now
We are not, we're not really here:top marks
Great save by the city keeper
That's a really good heider, was way harder than it looked
City are winning the treble aren’t they?
2-0 city ,great stuff , thoroughly deserve it .
City just been at a different level for a while now and this game is just showcasing that all the more…totally embarrassed the mighty Real Madrid.
Different class in that first half were Man City, utterly dominant
City are playing a different sport to the one i watch on a Saturday. :greengrin
Man city players are all 🤖 tonight :greengrin
The beautiful game.
If you love football you surely want City to win the cup (utd fans may be exempt). Dodgy owners aside
Must be the only one who refuses to watch City
Man City are just fantastic. I'd be shocked if they didn't win the Champions League now. For all those City fans that suffered for decades while Man United ruled the roost and City were nowhere, good bloody luck to them. Wish it was us.
KDB looks done
We’re all Inter Milan.
Coventry 1-0, at the moment Luton or Coventry going up, some achievement if things stay the same
3-0 man city. Game over
Don't have an English club at all but Man City fans for me seem poor. The atmosphere most of the night has been mediocre at best, it just isn't a stadium that seems to ever be absolutely rocking.
Absolutely wished it was us. Would love to be stood on the steps of Hampden as we watched our club secure it’s first treble.
A good few folk say they wouldn’t be into it, and I would like to be able to say I understand that point of view, but I don’t.
In terms of where the money comes from, I understand why people would say ‘no thanks’.
In terms of it being ‘not real hibs’ I say ‘you’re mad if you think that getting battered at home by ***** like Livi, SJ and RC would be more enjoyable than sweeping all before us aside’.
Goal scorer MOTM ?
Its mental just how poor Real are. Even looking at their bench, there is nothing on it. Modric and Kroos are done at this level and their replacement (Camavinga) is wasted at LB.
Wow - what a goal
4-0
What a superb team performance
Just like watching Hibs
