Totally agree and how well did he come across in his interview, intelligent young man, loved it when he said it was a no brainier coming to Hibs, well said Josh 👍

I'm delighted we managed to get this done and on a 4 year deal. He looks to have a great engine and drives the team forward with his strong runs. Looking forward to seeing him in the Essen game.

For a gifted ambitious young player, the opportunity to develop under Gray and his coaching staff must be a huge factor in coming to Hibs.

Funny you mention John McGinn, when I watched him last season he reminded me of him and was v keen for us to sign him, actually thought he’d be out of reach. Just had that same way of driving his team up the park and I’m looking forward to seeing him. A good signing, hopefully settles in from the get go, but if not, plenty time to get used to a new club, group, way of playing etc. Good to have him in this early in pre-season to help with all of the above though.

Josh Mulligan is definitely not a CDM ……strong running RWB or CM/ RM but not someone to break up play and tackle

Yep rwb or box to box midfielder very good signing. Strong powerful player who is decent on the ball. Good age and loads of potential exactly the sort of signing we should be bringing in

Not to mention being established in the league, and here for the majority of our pre season, which should be a big factor in him (and McGrath) hitting the ground running.
