Aye it was, I’d be surprised if they did one for this. They do have a wee bit time to make it work on that they wouldn’t as the rounds go on right enough.

There are still some reasonable options available.
Couple of direct flights out of the Wednesday sitting at £220 with Norwegian and SAS. That is obviously fairly steep one way but you can balance it out by getting back for a fair bit cheaper. Multiple options back to London and Manchester ranging between £30 and £60. Flying back via Manchester myself and got the train back up the road for £30.
I managed to get the SAS flight at £150 not long after the draw. Had looked at going via Hamburg but was a bit more limited as couldn’t take the Wednesday off so out on the SAS flight at night. As I say, the cheap return route made it possible. Same route home was cheap and the price of the trains in Denmark a massive bonus.
Might be worth noting there are regular passport checks on trains between Germany and Denmark.
I saw a woman who had the crazy idea of carrying a photo of her passport on her phone. Not American by the way.
The cops took her off the train.
We're on the 9am back to Copenhagen on the Friday morning, any idea if this goes to the airport or will it be a separate journey from Copenhagen to the airport?
we are on that as well, trains run every 20 mins to airport from copenhagen and take about 15mins,
Öresundståg
We are on the 8.59 Herning to Copenhagen Airport. There are a couple of changes but direct to the airport from Vejle station.
We land at Billund airport on the Wednesday at 16:20 from Heathrow.
Anyone travelling up to Herning from Billund airport figured out the logistics of their travel yet?
We are in Ostergaard Hotel I think, looks quite central to the boozers and train station.
I'm arriving at Billund Airport earlier in the day from Amsterdam. The quickest way by public transport is as follows I think - bus to Give St from Billund Airport then Train from Give St to Herning. Costs just over a tenner total I think. I imagine these times might work for you:

Another way to go is bus to Vejle, then train to Herning. Takes longer, but more regular buses from Biillund to Vejle than there is to Give St.
Surely be some ticket info out soon.
Is anyone getting the last train out of Herning after the game?

:agree: use this all the time in Germany - also check as they have tickets for groups of 6 or more that are really cheap (check if cross border) but effectively 6 can be same cost as 2 sometimes... if only we had such transport..
Wife trying to go to Sandy from Pitlochry £200 quid ish  in Germany that would be around 25 euro's
