I used to make the joke that early leavers were a disgrace. If I was actually the game I'd have stayed to the end!
As others have said. Folk turned up. Paid their money. Let them be.

I thought more might have been made about the record run being equalled.
History was made today, or at least replicated, and this Hibs team and David Gray deserved a few minutes of everyone’s time to acknowledge the feat.
I left at 93mins with my son, as he’s not comfortable with crowds all piling down the stairs at same time. Hope that’s ok with everyone. And tbh, If I wanted to leave earlier, I would. Would be my choice surely ?
When I used to go to the cinema I never stayed to watch the credits.
Unless it was a marvel film and I got made to cos of the wee extra bit.
Yeah so this happens in every stadium all over the world not just hibs
Doesn't bother me in the slightest if folk wish to leave early , Couldn't care less
Folk or their families may have jobs to go to. They may have family commitments arranged before the match was moved for tv. And with those, maybe they wanted to catch as much of the match that they could. Perhaps they’d taken ill. Maybe they do wish to reduce their time travelling to get home.
Whatever their reasons are, it’s really no one else’s business.
If all we’ve got to worry about going into the split is what time people leave I think we’re in a pretty good place for once.
Great afternoon, Hibs on form (still) and looking forward to work on Monday and my Jambo colleagues to ask how their weekend went.
What about fans who don’t turn up as soon as the turnstiles open and watch the warm ups? Less fans than those who turn up 5 mins before kick off ??
Wow, why the **** does anyone care about folk leaving early? We won 4-0 and are three points ahead in third. Focus on that and let other fans leave when they want. Crazy.
Hi Keith,
I didn't even go as I had to do things for my Mother, so only caught the 2nd half on a stream.
You may like Sunday games, but I'm older now and have to get up at 5am on the Monday for work.
Generally have a ton of things to do on Sunday's to prepare for the week ahead.
Not been to Easter Road on a Sunday for over 10 years.
Honestly Keith it knocks the crap out of me having a late Sunday.
Anyway unless I pay for one of the car parking spaces by the flats, it's a 3 bus journey home (2 1/2 to 3+ hours).
I can't remember the last time I went to a midweek game as I'm either working away or just too tired to rush like hell to get to the game and unless I leave 15mins early it's not possible to get home at all unless I drive.
Obviously I'm not a real fan as I don't currently have a season ticket and aside from a 4 year period when I had a 8-4:30 job, the only times I could go regularly was when I was at college and pre starting work. First games at Easter road were in 1976 and I honestly can't remember anything about that season. I do remember getting the first Bukta strip and wearing it until it fell apart.
Generally the only times I stay to the end is when we are at away games and get locked in.
I'm hoping to get to a lot more games when/if I ever manage to retire (health permitting), but who knows.
As it is Keith, I'll go to the games I want to and leave whenever I feel like it.
...
People are quite entitled to leave when they like but from a personal point of view there was no way I was leaving before the end of one of the best and most entertaining performances for many a season and I’m sure David Gray and the players appreciated the ovation from the fans at the end.
Why even have a gripe ?
No pleasing some folk, 17 games unbeaten and you come on here and post that..
